We went through the drive thru, my wife had to spell her name (and the lady still got it wrong), the lady kept interrupting my wife when she was trying to order. My wife ordered a smoothie with no energy shot, lady told her that was impossible, my wife went to order something else so the lady said, “what’s about this without the caffeine?” it was the exact thing my wife originally tried to order. The stuff came out, the lids SUCK and drip like crazy. We paid, then another lady came and asked us yo pay again before the other said we already paid. They told me they were out of strawberries for my bowl, so I said do mango I was told they didn’t have mango, so I said extra bananas. The damn thing came out with a single sliced strawberry and a pinch of diced mango. My wife’s sandwich was old and stale.
Edit: my son got a regular vanilla latte (which he typically inhales) I asked what was wrong and he said it was disgusting, I tried it, it’s horrible. $40 for this crap?!
I’ve seen the market managers replying that they’ll fix the issue and how much they appreciate their customers and strive for excellence, dating as far back as six months (that’s when I stopped reading the 1-star reviews), the same problems keep playing out and you continually want customers to believe you’re taking the complaints seriously? Get your act together. I don’t know how anyone is giving this place more than a...

I’ve been coming to Better Buzz in Oceanside for a while, but after today’s experience, I will never be back. The place has seriously gone downhill.
We arrived at 9:30am and found one of the bathrooms completely demolished — like someone had gone in and destroyed it. The other restroom wasn’t much better. There was no toilet paper, no seat covers, and the toilet hadn’t been cleaned in days. Absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable for a coffee shop that claims to care about quality.
The only decent part of the experience was the short girl behind the counter — she was friendly and apologized sincerely. But when my husband asked to speak with a manager, we were met with Cynthia, who claimed to be in charge. Instead of addressing the problem professionally, she gave us attitude and smirked as she said, “We have a lot of homeless and they use the bathrooms.” There’s a code on the door, so that excuse doesn’t even make sense.
Cynthia went out of her way to be dismissive, rude, and completely unhelpful. She acted like she was too good to be bothered with customer concerns and clearly has no business being in a leadership role.
Better Buzz, do better. Clean your restrooms, stock basic necessities, and hire managers who know how to lead instead of deflect blame. Until then, you’ve lost...
Read moreBetter Buzz sells pastries and croissants but doesn't show them on the menu or lists their prices. Their Kouign Amann croissant is not even advertised. Are they for sale or are they complimentary? If so then show a price in case a customer decides to buy some.
Communication skills and customer engagement are lacking. Workers are generally unfriendly but expect to be tipped!?
Place looks bare, empty and very uninviting.
BB's cold blended drinks are mostly made with ice water and a scoop of flavored powder mixed in a high powered blender and they charge $6 for items that are exorbitantly overpriced and not barista quality.
The cold blended drinks that I have tried all have a taste similar to Nestle Quik and Carnation powdered milk, with taste that is left to be desired.
Customers in the drive thru basically don't know what they are buying or how the drinks are made so cheaply but are basically 'guilt tipping' for powder and water.
Black Rock Coffee and Dunkin' have similar pricing to Better Buzz but provide better value.
Adding milk, using syrups and hiring baristas who are personable is a concept Better Buzz...
