The GRID | VR Arcade — Attraction in Oceanside

The Grid had got to be on the top of the list for things to do in Oceanside. Our while family played here earlier in the week on our vacation and we couldn't wait to return... we even skipped the beach so our boys could go back! As far as being a VR Arcade this place is phenomenal! Between the realistic games and black light atmosphere we had a blast! Our boys are 6, 9, and 11 and they could not get enough!

They did laser tag and loved the original game by the Grid Hypertag, they begged to go back and play it! I did a very realistic boxing game and flew around a city after jumping off a 50 story window. It was so realistic i almost lost my balance!!!

We had my son’s 10th birthday and it exceeded expectations. Pan was a gracious and organized host, he even let us try out the equipment prior to booking the party. We did the laser tag which had multiple levels and the game naturally switches out the kids so everyone got a turn and there was never an awkward time that you had to tell the kids their turn was over. Before us, another private party had damaged one of the VR setups, it worked for us for half the time and the studio was kind enough to give us extra time and a discount for the trouble. Really great customer service and the type of small business that you want to patron. The pricing is very reasonable, would highly recommend and worth the drive from carmel valley! Walking through Artist Alley in Oceanside, this was an unexpected yet welcomed surprise. I can't express just how much pure fun you can have at The Grid. It doesn't take being a gamer to appreciate the work put into the maps Pan has created for this VR experience. Any questions you have have can be answered with knowledge from a true pro! I thoroughly enjoyed learning about this form of VR and playing a game of Hypertag. This is a unique experience and we are so lucky to have it here in Oceanside.
