So I ordered over the phone. Girl answered and I ordered 1 Torta Cubana 1 melanessa and 1 Adobada burrito. Was told it would be 15min. Ok so after 10 I left my job and once I got to there establishment wich took about 5min being we stopped by gas station. The girl at the register told me they never started my order. Hungry and disappointed. I paid and waiting a extra 15min for my order wich was Horrible! I can't believe this place has 2 cooks and a few guest yet they burnt our melinessa tortas and could not cut the torta in half properly. I will never return. I was VERY impressed by the variety of Mexican food on their menu. Most places only have basic tacos, burritos and rolled tacos (yes, they have these too)...needless to say these guys are outstanding! Tamales Oaxaqueños, huaraches, chilaquiles, alambres, mole, pan dulce...the list goes on. I ordered red chilaquiles and I added avocado (.99 extra) plus a large horchata. Reasonably priced food for the large amounts they serve and SUPER tasty! I love that they prepare your food on the spot so its always fresh and the service is also EXCELLENT! We rented a beach condo in Oceanside and wanted to have a birthday party for my husband on the beach. After a lot of research, we settled on La Perla Tapatia to cater the food for the event. We had them prepare it and then we set it all up at the beach. They were awesome! The food was fresh and amazing with warmed tortillas and tons of sides.
