We are not from around here and drove here specifically to have breakfast because it was one of the only places closest that stayed served breakfast and open to 9pm. I am a hospital employee coming out of an 12 hour shift and was looking forward to eating breakfast. The place looked quite decent when we came in, only looked like 1 server and a young lady at the counter. We walked in a 2:15-2:20, the young lady asked us what we wanted to drink, but DID NOT specifically say that they were no longer serving breakfast past 2:30pm, because at that time we would have said, “no thank you to coffee and left.” After we received the coffee we got the menus and the menus did not include breakfast. We were puzzled at this time it was a little past 2:30 when the server came to ask us what we were going to eat, my husband asked if we could still have breakfast, the server was kind enough to say we usually don’t serve it, but ok I’ll get you the menus. Before even getting a good look at the menu, the young lady came over and stated that they stop serving breakfast at 2:25-2:30, so all we could choose from was from the menu previously given. My husband got a Philly cheese. With a fried egg on top and onion rings. I had a side salad. His bread was bigger than the sandwich, there was barely any meat there was no provolone cheese, only shredded cheese. On the ginormous bun. He had to eat because he needed to take his medication, otherwise, we would have had the coffee and left. I’m sorry to the server because I know she tried to accommodate us and the tip and bill would have been of greater value to her. Just wanted to share that sometimes a little bit of customer service and communication goes a long way. No love lost. We love to do brunch in many different places and this one will not be one of them in the near future. ...
Read moreI absolutely cannot recommend this place, I would give it zero stars if I could, excepting that my server was polite and attentive. I ordered biscuits and gravy with two eggs and country fried steak. They brought me a plate of dinner rolls instead of biscuits. Forgetting for just a moment that biscuits and gravy have actual biscuits instead of dinner rolls, every part of the meal was as bland as it could possibly be. The gravy was practically flavorless, the dinner rolls were 4 whole entire dinner rolls still attached to each other in a square, the country fried steak was slightly crispy but the batter was undercooked, and the eggs were supposed to be over easy but were overcooked. The booth seats are sunken in and too far from the tables so you have to sit on the end of the seat to reach your food on the table with no back support and it is very uncomfortable.
If you want a decent Diner in the area I recommend Carlos Diner on Wurst Road. I should have just drove there, but this place was closer and I was...
Read moreI came to this restaurant this morning with high hopes and with the good ratings, I thought I was in for a treat. I love breakfast food, so I wanted to give Ocoee a run for it's money. We were greeted with annoyance, told to seat ourselves and we would be tended to. A family of 3 came after us and was handed menus immediately upon arrival. Another waitress came to serve us and I actually had to go up to the cash bar and ask her for menus after waiting 10mins. After another 15 minutes, I impatiently decided to walk up to the bar to order my food. I was apologized to and was told by my waitress, the job was frustrating. The other waitress ignored us in favor of tending to her boyfriend that visited her. It definitely appeared to be a poor working environment and very poorly managed. Food was served 10 mins later. 35 minutes in total to get our food. Although it was served hot, the food was bland at best. You can taste the negativity in their food. I will never come back and was heartbroken by this...
