Hi there! I’m a neighbor and recently visited The Backyard. I wanted to share that I’ll definitely be back—it’s a great concept with a lot of potential. Since you’re still fairly new, I hope this feedback is helpful!
The Good: • The food was delicious! I tried dishes from the Cuban spot and TBG, and everything was tasty. It did take over 25 minutes to be ready (I visited around 11:30 a.m., so maybe it was still early)
• The overall setup, furniture, and ambiance are beautiful. You can tell a lot of effort went into creating a welcoming space—I love the look and feel of the area.
Suggestions: • The entrance process was a bit confusing. There were only four families ahead of me, but the line moved slowly. I couldn’t find the QR code, and had to wait in the heat with my kids just to open a tab. The two ladies helping were super sweet, but the system itself felt unnecessarily complicated. For example, I needed permission to pour a drink, but not to start a food tab? And it wasn’t clear what drinks were available unless you asked or spotted a small sign. Idea: Consider adding a drink cart in the back and clearer signage about offerings—it would really help!
• The bugs were intense. I know it’s summer, but it was hard to enjoy the space with bugs constantly flying into our faces. Other outdoor venues seem to manage this—bug control would make a big difference. • The grass area could use a little love. It looked worn and patchy, which took away from the otherwise beautiful setup. Some fresh landscaping would go a long way. • I love that bikers can access the space from the trail, but the back entrance currently looks like a construction zone with loose wood and debris. Cleaning this up would really elevate the experience.
Final Thoughts: Overall, I think the concept is awesome and I’ll be back when the weather cools down in the fall. Right now, it’s just too hot to enjoy the space for long unless more fans or shade options are added. The wine and beer were great, too!
Thanks again for bringing something fun and fresh to the...

Recently, my family and I wandered into a pizzeria Ocoee gem— called Pizza Culture.
Picture live music weaving through the air, board games under a breezy pavilion, and food trucks dotting the lawn like flavor beacons.
The scent alone could pull you in blindfolded.
Drawn by the smiles at the order window, we made a beeline for Pizza Culture—a spot I’d been dying to try after seeing it light up social media.
The entire experience was smooth: scan a QR code, browse the menu, customize your order, and boom—you’re back to relaxing while your food is freshly prepared.
We ordered:
The Nu-York (pepperoni)
The Karen (classic cheese)
Garlic Truffle Dough Corners (double order— Soooo worth it)
Garlic Shroom Pizza with extra toppings
And the showstopper: Guava Dough Corners—fluffy dough, mozzarella, guava sauce, EVOO, oregano, and powdered sugar.
It tasted like a tropical daydream.
But let me say this: the dough is the star. Soft, pillowy, and flavorful enough to eat without toppings.
It held everything beautifully without ever being too heavy.
While we waited, we played games, soaked in the breeze, and then got the sweetest text alert: “Hi, your order at Pizza Culture - The Backyard is ready!”
If you haven’t checked it out yet—make the trip.
It’s the Best Pizza in Ocoee with personality in a place that feels like a backyard party you never want to leave.
The owner Adam had such great customer service, and answered all my questions.

Read moreI had a wonderful experience at The Backyard. There were 6 different food trucks on-site offering a great variety of options. I tried the pizza, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I also grabbed three tacos from the Cuban truck, which were full of flavor, and Cluckers (the chicken food truck) did not disappoint either. The overall food experience was top-notch!
While I didn’t personally try any of the draft beers, I saw many people enjoying them, and the selection looked impressive. It seems like a great place to kick back with a cold one.
The atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly, with a relaxed vibe and outdoor games for the kids, which really added to the vibe. It’s definitely a place you could bring the whole family or just hang out with friends.
If I had to mention one downside, it would be the bugs but that’s to be expected in Florida, especially with the heat, humidity, and rain. I know they’re newly opened and still getting everything in place, so I’m confident they’ll come up with a long-term solution for that.
All in all, The Backyard is a fantastic concept with even better energy. I’m excited to see how they continue to grow and improve. Definitely worth...
