Pastry Power - Gluten Free Home Bakery - Preorder Only - Orlando — Restaurant in Ocoee

I placed an order from Katie during a recent trip to Orlando and everything was so amazing! It can be so difficult when you’re gluten free not to feel like you miss out sometimes, or to find gluten free options that are similar in taste and texture to the treats you used to eat. Everything we ordered was absolutely wonderful, great flavour and texture, moist, and held up well for a few days. (They didn’t last any longer than that because we ate them all!) It was especially a treat to be able to enjoy yeast fried donuts again, and Katie’s are the closest I’ve found anywhere to the gluten-filled donuts I remember from years ago. I will definitely order again if we’re back in the area and highly recommend Pastry Power to anyone who eats gluten free or has a gluten-free loved one. We have been GF since 2008. Food choices used to suck. These days, most foods can be made to closely resemble "standard" recipes. Pastry Power has perfected their selections and given the GF community treats to not only enjoy but to remember. We tried most of the choices and found our favorites... the cinnamon rolls, the Holiday Snack Cake (Little Debbie ain't got nuthin on these), the Reindeer Chocolate Torte which should really be called "Death by Chocolate" because you're gonna die when that first bite hits your taste buds, the Caramel Apple Pie Bar -not pictured (grannie's apple pie will never be good enough anymore) and the Chocolate Toaster Tart which is in a class all it's own...the class of heavenly deliciousness that can only be found here. I highly recommend Pastry Power for anyone who is gluten-free, including those with celiac as she bakes in a dedicated GF kitchen and is very knowledgeable about proper safety protocols. We have had a wonderful experience working with Katie. The sweets she makes are not simply a safe alternative for those who are GF - the food is professional quality, beautiful presentation, and everything tastes delicious whether or not you are GF. She also offers fun options that are nearly impossible to find elsewhere in GF varieties, including holiday themed treats & custom cookie designs. Katie is very professional and friendly, with prompt and clear communication. Placing orders, payment options, etc. are all a breeze.
