Nice place staff is friendly went on lunch date with Hubby per the review's it didn't quite live up to the fantastic reviews and there are no true combos. Their combos are you by the hamburger for anywhere from 8 to $12 then if you want fries and a drink you pay $4.50 more. Not sure that would be cost-effective if a family came in with kids. The food is fresh. Wasn't very impressed with the actual hamburger patty it tastes closer to a frozen hamburger patty slightly bigger than the Big Mac hamburger patty basically the bread and any other things like the lettuce tomatoes pickles kinds of items you add overwhelmed the actual burger taste. I had the egg burger hubby tried the cheeseburger and added grilled onions and mushrooms to it. Fries were fine they weren't soggy but they weren't very crisp. All the condiments in are by the drink station Very similar to Arby's lay out where you actually pump the condiments into the little containers and take it to your table. I don't want this to come across as a bad review because it isn't a bad review it was just very meh nothing that I personally wouldn't go out of my way to tell somebody to go in and try it. I will go back for a second trip to try something else off the menu to see if maybe I just picked a burger that just tasted plain. Possibly the Texas brisket burger. Again not a bad place just expensive for what you get. We ordered two burgers one with a combo that came with the fries and drink and it came...
Read moreWe were searching for a new burger joint since the one we visited often closed. We found The Brave Burger and decided to try it out. Let me say first and foremost that it exceeded expectations.
We first met Rosanna when we entered. Her customer service was a highlight as she went through the menu with us and explained the process of the burgers here. She offered excellent recommendations and gave us plenty of time to make our selections. After we started eating, she came to check on us to see how the food was as well. We appreciate God service, and hers was top notch.
Now for the food... As I said, it exceeded expectations. We ordered the Smashburger and the a Bacon Burger with an egg added. Normally, I'm a turkey burger kinda girl, but I wanted to try something new. First bite to last, my mouth was so happy. Juicy without being messy, excellent quality beef, thick bacon... every bite of that Smashburger was delicious. My husband ate the Bacon Burger with the Egg added. I looked up and it was good before I could ask him how it was. It was evident that it was good. We ordered the large fries which was enough for the two of us, and they were also perfectly cooked.
I highly recommend a trip to The...
Read moreWe were hoping to find a new local burger spot that exceeded the quality of the run-of-the-mill fast food burgers. The Brave seemed to fill that niche and we headed that way! I was somewhat sad to learn Ellie Lou's was no more, but hoped The Brave would make up for it. My daughter stepped to the register first and ordered the pulled pork bowl. When I realized the cost, ($15.99) I was surprised and quickly put the kabosh on that selection (she settled on a hot dog). We all ordered and $50+ later (2 adults, 2 children), we were waiting for our food. The burger was very good (smash burger) and everyone else enjoyed their selections. Unfortunately, the fry portion (for the price) was underwhelming and a bit overcooked. I would have expected service to be a bit more impressive given the newness of the restaurant (someone coming around asking us about our experience, disposing of our trash, etc). In all, we likely won't return as a family. The price seems a bit inflated (even beyond 2024 "gourmet burger bar" prices) and...
