We arrived at the restaurant and it was basically empty except for one other couple . We sat and immediately knew what we wanted being that we had already purchased a Groupon and reviewed the menu but instead we had to wait for someone to come and take our order . My daughter was super hungry so after 10 minutes and no one came to our table she notice the only waitress lady that was working (Andrea) at a registered and said, “excuse me can you please send someone to our table?” She gave my daughter a serious look and said one moment before a man came to take our order. Already I felt a vibe that this is not the most friendliest if staff... so if your considering this restaurant for ANY special occasion you may want to reconsider . I ordered the steak and it was super thin and dry ! Definitely not worth the money they charged. This restaurant is extremely overpriced. We also mis read the fine print on the Groupon and didn’t know it was one per table & when I asked “Andrea” if I can speak to the manager she became really rude and said that the rules are rules, manager isn’t available . I then asked if she can call the manager because I would like to at least complain about the service and she proceeded to tell me she can’t call the manager and proceeded to get extremely rude with our table. The man that took our order wasn’t rude but he wasn’t a great waiter either as he didn’t come and check if the food was good and we were ok or needed anything else. In any business we should be able to speak to someone about the service and when she denied us that right I knew I would NEVER go back to that restaurant, especially when you can tell THEY COULD CARE LESS if we didn’t come back ! Andrea was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL and right before we was going to leave she brought over a phone so that we can speak to the manager and it’s no wonder Andrea spoke and acted in the way she did because the manager was not helpful at all and could care less about our complaint . Read moreI ordered the Soup of the Day and Rotisserie Chicken dinner, which includes 1/4 piece of chicken and salad. The large chicken soup is optional and costs $3.50 extra, but is cheaper with the meal than alone.
When I placed my order online it requires you to also choose between three items as a side; Casava, Sweet Plantains or Green Plantains. I chose the Sweet Plantains. I also order extra of the garlic cream sauce.
I finish my order and pay then wait to get info when it’s ready for pick up.
I get to the restaurant and they give me my order which has the large soup on the bottom and a large styrofoam container on top. It’s tied very tightly in the bag so you need scissors to open it with.
I get home cut open the bag, take out the styrofoam box , then soup, then a single green and single cream sauce, no extra sauce. I then open the box and there is rice, sweet plantains and sliced avocado. NO chicken and NO salad.
I keep the soup put the box back in the bag, then head back to the restaurant. Thankfully I only live 5 min away.
I showed the employee the box and a snap shot of my order. They show it to another employee that in turn brings it back to the kitchen to redo my order.
I get it back very quickly with an apology, and I head back home. I cut open the tightly knotted bag are there are two smaller boxes and a lot of extra cream and green sauces. In one box is the 1/4 piece of chicken and in the other box are the sweet plantains. NO salad.
At this point everything’s getting cold so I eat a majority of it. I also noticed there was only one piece of chicken in the 32 oz of soup.
Even though the restaurant is only 5 minutes away I just couldn’t jump back in the car to go back again.
That being said, I won’t go back to the restaurant...

The order was never delivered and after over 1 hr delayed, they insisted the order was placed as a takeout and offered a refund to my account. After 2 weeks waiting for the refund, I called the restaurant to inquire on the status. The manager answered to my inquiry saying they will not provide a refund and stated that the person who said I was getting refund was only an employee who does not know better. The manager was very rude and unwilling to help resolve the situation. I am still waiting for resolution on a refund for an order I never received and no one at pío Pío even cared or show any interest in having charged a customer for an order that was never delivered. Do not trust in ordering from this restaurant. The restaurant response below is full of false information. This was a delivery order NOT a pickup order. I never indicated the opposite to Zuppler. Moreover, the restaurant manager did not call trying to explain, he was very rude and was treating me very badly over the phone. He did not even acknowledge the fact that his personnel gave me the wrong information and he was only trying to get ride of me. Worst customer service.
