Decided to order here for takeout this evening. I went to pick up the food and I got to the car and noticed that the bag felt a little light. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and I understand how items can be packed and certainly two soups, a curry with rice, spring rolls, and pad kee mao can’t be packed safely into one bag. I go back in and ask cause it didn’t seem right. I said i can go get the bag if you like and she says yes go ahead. I return with the bag of food. the cashier then holds the ticket up and says they check everything off so it’s in the bag then moves the opening of the bag where I could see that my moms food was there. That was my biggest concern since my mom is diabetic and needs to eat at certain times. I reluctantly said okay and went back to my car and drove home. What I should’ve done was open the bag and pulled all the contents out to show the cashier because my mom opens the bag when we get home and there is no pad kee mao and they in fact forgot my food like I initially suspected. We call them back and the same cashier answers saying that it’s in there and she showed me the ticket. Despite us insisting that something we paid for isn’t here, she kept insisting it was. It felt a little argumentative and almost like I was being duped. I have no reason to be dishonest. Her tone of voice and word use continuously implied that they were right, they did make it , and pack it and we were wrong. I felt as if she was trying to insinuate we were lying to get a free meal… what’s the sense in that when I can afford it? And why would I waste my time driving 15 minutes each way twice when I’m busy with schoolwork ? I did not appreciate her tone, it was incredibly condescending. Yes they did remake the food but to be talked to as if I’m lying was disrespectful. My advice is if you do take out open the bag in front of them and go through item one by one to avoid a frustrating situation. Sadly my family and friends will not be returning to this establishment to dine because of the way we were talked to over a simple mistake on their staffs behalf. It was...

Update: unfavorable and unfortunate: I ordered takeout tonight from Thai Time as I wasn’t feeling like going out, unfortunately to my dismay when my sister who is in town visiting went to pick up the order I paid for questioned the older lady cashing her out about the accuracy of the order as it felt lighter than it should be to which the cashier responded it’s all there on their checklist and that we were just looking for free food.
Well, the order was verified to be missing several items, and the manner in which the issue was handled was poorly done and unfortunately reflects Thai Time.
I post this experience because 1 month ago they were very polite and pleasant to go to for a great meal however the way they tried to handle this particular situation is unprofessional and unacceptable especially when I tip over the standard 20% for orders...
Read moreWhat a hidden gem! Thai Time in Ocoee has officially earned a spot on our regular rotation. We came in about 30 minutes before closing, and instead of being rushed or brushed off, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, which says a lot about their dedication to great service.
The ambiance is calm and peaceful, with gentle piano music floating in the background—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The food? Absolutely delicious and impressively fast. Every dish was packed with flavor, and the appetizers were top-notch. You can tell they don’t cut corners, even near closing time.
Our server, May, was attentive, kind, and made sure everything was just right. And with Thai Time being only 11 minutes from home, this spot is a no-brainer for a relaxing, flavorful night out.
We’ll definitely...
