Bush's Chicken — Restaurant in Odessa

I've actually never had worse service in my life. We went inside, because (in my experience) a lot of fried chicken joints have off-the-menu specials that are typically awesome. They have a Tuesday special that we thought was a great deal! 16 tenders, 4 rolls and a large side of gravy for $11.99. The food was pretty good! But the service was SO BAD! We stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, while the girl AT the register just stared at us in silence. It later came to light that she was waiting for change for the drive-through. I have no idea why it would take ten minutes to make change, and I worked retail for five years. When we finally could place an order, the woman immediately began boxing up our food. Upon completing that mission, she was then called away by the seemingly helpless employees. Leaving our finished order on the counter, getting cold, and us staring at it. ANOTHER 10 minutes goes by. There are now 4 employees in the back having some sort of pow-wow. A family of three came in during this time, and we are looking at each other in equal confusion. FINALLY the woman came back, and we had to REMIND her to give us the food that had now been sitting out for at least 10 minutes. The family behind us left without food. Worst...

We came in about 8:30pm and ask for Mac and cheese with our order. They said they were out because they were fixing to close but they didn't close till 10pm. Also an employee who was not working and in her own personal clothes was at the counter being loud and talking with the other employees all gathered at the counter. She was even asking a male employee how much he would charge to be a male stripper for her. Not proper in front of customers. Then she went behind the counter and was taking peoples orders when she's not even working. This was not a good atmosphere to be around. Trying to enjoy our meal while they're being loud and talking about male strippers. Keep that conversation between themselves and not on front...

Been eating here since I was in school. And never really had problem with it. But the day I'm having really tough day, of course these guys ruin their rep with me.

I ordered the 16 tenders and rolls and everything went smoothly, as usual. But when I opened the box when I got home, I find all my rolls smushed into the b ox. Didnt know bushes had flat bread.

Only reason I gave them a 2 star is because of the young lady who made the ordering process so easy. I think I was more upset about the fact that even if i report this problem, there's another problem showing up elsewhere.
