Crazy burrito authentic Mexican grill odessa — Restaurant in Odessa

When I ordered from here I had seen so many good reviews. While the reviews I saw had huge portion sizes, I ended up getting one small taco that, in my opinion, did not warrant the price. Maybe I should have went in person, but alas I did not. The Birria Taco was good, the sauce was a bit bland but the taco was enjoyable all three bites it took to consume. Elote was good, a lot of mayo, cheese, and chili powder with a lime on the side. The last thing I got was Nacho Fries, which to my suspense: were just regular room temperature fries. I was expecting some sauce or at least some cheese or jalapeños. But they were just plain fries, decent portion but a bit bland and not worth the price. If I had known they were plain fries, I wouldn’t have gotten them. The fries were the only thing cold as well, everything was hot still despite taking 30 minutes to get to my house despite being a 15 minute drive. Overall 3.5 but I can’t rate three and a half stars so...

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding a serious food safety issue I experienced at this establishment. Upon receiving my order, I discovered a used bandage in my food. This not only raises significant health concerns but also strongly suggests that proper food safety measures, such as wearing gloves, are not being followed in your kitchen.

When I called to report the issue, I was met with dismissiveness and a lack of accountability. At no point did the staff member acknowledge the gravity of the situation, nor was an apology offered. As a customer, I find this response unacceptable, as it disregards both health standards and basic customer service expectations.

I urge the owner to address this matter immediately to ensure that proper hygiene protocols are being enforced. I would appreciate a response regarding the actions the establishment will take to prevent such incidents...

I saw this place on google maps while visiting the area and needed to order ahead for a quick meal. The reviews looked solid so I placed an order by phone. When I arrived to pick up my burrito I shook my head and was slightly concerned. Had I known ahead of time that I was ordering a burrito from a restaurant inside of a gas station I likely would have chosen another restaurant. 😅

🤤 The burrito was delicious!! I’m glad I followed the advice of others reviews. My wife still doesn’t know that her burrito was retrieved from a gas station restaurant while she was getting ready for our evening back at the hotel. She said, “This is the best burrito I’ve ever had.” One day I’ll share my secret, but that was not the day to raise concern. 😂
