This place used to be good when it was open on West county road, bragged to the hubby about their brisket stuffed jalapeno poppers so he wanted to go try them, we get there and they are out, this was at 3 in the afternoon, so we were disappointed but stayed and tried to eat anyway. The lady cutting the "meats" had loose hair and no hair net and does not know how to slice brisket if that's even what it was, she cut it in chunks instead of slicing it, I ordered a sliced beef sandwich not a chunked beef sandwich, I had potato salad and beans, the potato salad had no flavor and the beans were completely dry. My hubby ordered a 2 meat plate and same sides as me, he didn't like his food either. The brisket was so tough it was like chewing on a piece of rubber, I honestly don't believe it was even brisket. The barbecue sauce they served us was so watered down you couldn't even taste it and mine had a piece of macaroni and cheese in it, I did not order macaroni and cheese. They seen me dig it out and didn't even apologize or try to get me some more. The gentleman helping cut the meat was very clean cut, very nice and has very good customer service skills and should really consider working somewhere where he can truly be appreciated, the rest of the employees had long hair that should have been in hair nets or at least tucked under a hat, no one wants hair in their food, especially someone else's. The owner has long hair and a long pubic hair looking beard that he just lets wave around and is a very rude male chauvinistic pig to the point that he pissed my husband off as well!!!! He's quick to have a conversation with a man but if you are a female it's a whole different story, men are superior and woman are peasants in his fantasy land 🤣🤣🤣 We will never ever eat at this...

I went here for the first time a few months back. It's sad, but I will not be going back again. I ordered through the drive through. The person taking my order was very nice and friendly. I asked for suggestions. I had the 2 meat plate brisket and sausage with potatoes and green beans and a roll, I also ordered the blackberry cobbler which sounded oh so good. I was extremely disappointed with everything except the mashed potatoes and the green beans- they were excellent. However 15 or more dollars for mashed potatoes and green beans was not a great deal. There was a respectable amount of Brisket on the plate. The brisket was watery and included a watery BBQ sauce that lacked any depth or flavor. The sausage was of poor quality. I am picky about my sausage and I always go for the better sausage at the grocery store. I should have went to the grocery store, this sausage had no real flavor and was full more of fat than any seasonings. The blackberry cobbler was squishy, doughy and not all the way cooked. This broke my heart. I was expecting a meal of good smoked meat with plenty of seasoning and sauce on the side if needed. I got a watery, flavorless, greasy, doughy uncooked mess. I honestly would go back for the green beans and mashed potatoes because they were super good, but only for the sides. I was so disappointed in the whole meal, although a decent size meal, it had no flavor and no seasoning...

A couple of our friends asked if we like to join them for dinner at Jack Jordan's and I Am glad we did. It was dinner and a show in the kindest sense. The food was plentiful and delicious. I had the sausage sandwich plate with two sides ( pinto beans & coleslaw) I've never seen so much perfectly cooked sausage links in a sandwich it was the best and the BB-Q sauce was tasty. I asked my friend who ordered 4 meat plate how the Turkey was and he gave me a couple of pieces to try, the most moist turkey was delicious the best turkey I've had in years. I will order that next time we dine there. Everybody enjoyed their meals thoroughly. The staff was very Friendly, Accommodating & Entertaining, the owner Jimmy came to our table and regaled us with stories of his growing up in the business and later buying it from his father. We all enjoyed our meals and the staff who have colorful personalities. Looking forward to dining there many times again ! My apologies, I don't think of taking pictures until after the fact. The business has race car collections and various fighter aircraft, bicycles, etc... hanging from the ceiling The business has alot of items to view. I like...

The only good thing about this place is the decor. I love planes and they have a lot of them decorating the inside. First and foremost who doesn’t have pulled pork at a BBQ place in Texas? BBQ sauce is watery and not very flavorful. Pretty basic. Meats taste like they have been cooked and reheated which is kind of gross. Ribs are dry and overcooked. Brisket is decent but reminiscent of Dickeys I mean blind folded you could eat this food and tell no difference except n the wallet. Mac and cheese is mushy and watered down. Mashed potatoes I swear are instant and same with the gravy. If you are even an amateur at cooking these foods save yourself time and money and get them in the store and cook it yourself you literally can’t do any worse. Would have tried the cobbler but despite it saying it was included on the menu they said they’d have to charge and I had to stand on principal there. Would I come back? No not at all. Guy serving us was short and angry no welcome nothing. It’s a very unwelcoming eat and leave vibe that I don’t feel like I would shell out another $80 to eat. Every worker sitting on counters just watching their phones.

Don't be fooled by all of the smokers and cooking equipment outside of this place. It's one of the poorest excuses for bbq I have ever had. The staff was great. The food was not good. I got a 4 meat plate. it was a ton of food. I got brisket, sausage, turkey and pork ribs. For sides I got mac and cheese and beans. I'll give it to them that the beans and the mac and cheese were good. The brisket was basically just tougher pot roast. no flavor at all really. The ribs were seasoned well but tough and just not very good. The sausage was fine. Nothing special. Not smoked or even grilled...probably boiled which is fine but not for a bbq place. The turkey weird. It wasn't just turkey breast...it was like lunch meat but thicker sliced. Overall this place was not worth it. It was a ton of not good food.

We tried Jack Jordan’s for the first time for dinner. The staff is very friendly and it was some of the best service we have had in a while. The food is good but not what I would call “the best”. Appears that they rely heavily on the BBQ sauce to give the food flavor. The ribs were better than the brisket as far as flavor. Their coleslaw is really good (similar to KFC…more sweet than vinegar which I like). The potato salad didn’t have much flavor and had a consistency more like mashed potatoes. Their portions are very generous so you really get your monies worth. It’s a place we all decided that we probably wouldn’t crave in our sleep but i we would go to again if we were in the area and/or invited to by friends.
