Echoing the other "5 Star Comments," absolutely WONDERFUL Staff and equally GREAT FOOD!! I routinely grab a breakfast burrito after my workout at the gym (Mission Fitness located conveniently down Eastridge from this fantastic little restaurant)...it's how I "justify" my daily carbs...LOL. Seriously, though, the food is not only FANSTASTIC but they are NOT at ALL "stingy" when it comes to the amount of food that comes [ESP] on the breakfast burritos. W/o ANY reservation I can attest to the F-A-C-T that they have the largest burritos (ESP for the price) for a "fast food-style" eatery with restaurant quality food!! Most of their breakfast burritos are priced so [very] FAIRLY; $4.99 for a burrito - myself included - that I generally cannot eat the entire burrito at once (I often cut it in half which works out WONDERFULLY since I visit them, basically, EVERY other day!).
Lastly, I would be extremely remiss if I did not tell you how truly pleasant, professional, and kind/sweet the staff is...EACH & EVERY morning I C them!!! I may have to 'EDIT' this review IF I leave ANYbody out of this 5-Star Review (I'm terrible c/ names but you cannot help quickly remember this wonderful staff); from manager Maya and to the rest of her truly wonderful staff (in NO particular order btw): Stephanie, Emeri, Terry, and Erica it has become a pleasure to C them every [other] morning!! Moreover, even when I began frequenting this fine establishment (near the very end of Dec., 2022 I believe was my 1st visit), within a relatively short time, they ALL remembered me 'by name' and ALWAYS make it a point to not only say HELLO (often, even tho there is one at the window conducting the transaction, one or two of the others will come to the window JUST to say HELLO to me!! How many other eateries treat you so KINDLY and make you not only feel very welcome but they ALSO stress how much they appreciate my routine business!!). I cannot recommend this establishment enough; they are TRULY just fantastic!! So IF you're looking for place to get that authentic Mexican Food - specifically that morning 'Breakfast Burrito' (which, btw, they serve no matter the time while practically EVERYBODY ELSE "cuts you off" as it pertains to breakfast around 9:30am-10am) ANY time of day (until they close mid-afternoon), PLEASE GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR CONSIDERATION....You will NOT be disappointed, I assure you!! Btw, they have a location in West Odessa for those that live and frequent that side of town while those of us who live in Eastern Odessa, this location is VERY CONVENIENTLY LOCATED on Billy Hext (JUST one "city block" south of "the 191" at the corner of Eastridge and Billy Hext! Equally, if your morning commute involves taking "the 20" or "Business 20, SIMPLY take Billy Hext - oddly "marked as Marco Street" off of "the 80" for a very short distance when it QUICKLY BECOMES 'Billy Hext." You SIMPLY go North a short distance to Eastridge and "you're there." So NO MATTER which Hwy/Interstate you take on your morning commute, this ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC EATERY and EQUALLY FANTASTIC STAFF is WELL WORTH THE TRIP!! Oh yes, and they are VERY FAST (unlike MOST places ESP in the morning when you're typically in that "morning rush!") though there food does NOT "taste fast" at ALL!! NOTHING is "pre-made" like it is at most Fast-Food restaurant like McDonalds and, yuck, Burger King!! They do NOT make you're food until you actually PLACE YOUR ORDER!! Moreover, do NOT think of this place as one of the aforementioned fast-food restaurants; their "caliber food" is best compared to that of an actual "sit down/wait-staff RESTAURANT!" You will NOT regret giving this place a TRY but a word of warning: you'll be "hooked" once you try their food and meet their fantastic staff!! As the second review states: "Beautiful People, Good Service, & [Great] Food! How apropos!!!
VERY Loyal & Long Time Customer (1st visit, I believe was 'rt B4 New Year's Eve, 2022) ToNy (7 or 8 "Level Google Reviewer")

Read moreGood food but needs to reduce prices. Taco plate with horchata costs about $20! Please lower your prices La Burreria. I would greatly appreciate it!
Update: La Burreria responded to my original review by saying that it wasn’t true that my taco plate and horchata did not cost $20. It most certainly did! They counted beans and rice as separate add on items which increased the overall cost and, by the time sales tax was added in, it was a few cents shy of $20. Either La Burreria over-charged me that day, they charge extra or too much for standard sides like beans and rice, or they are too proud to admit that they could possibly be mistaken in their pricing and the way they respond to negative reviews.
If I paid $20 because they mistakenly overcharged me, then La Burreria needs to be a lot more careful when they charge their customers. I have paid these high prices several times when I’ve come here because they get you with the add on items. Consumer, don’t just look at this review, go to La Burreria yourself and request items with add ons and you’ll quickly see how high of a price you pay. I’m tired of paying so...
Read moreI really love the burritos here. I used to go to the restaurant on Billy Hext all the time when I was in that area in the mornings. Now I go to the West County Rd store practically every morning. One burrito is enough to cut in half and have breakfast and lunch. Yesterday, I decided to try ordering my smothered burrito without the tortilla to help cut down on carbs...Without the tortilla, I was charged $1.90 more than if I had the tortilla..I thought it might have been a mistake, so I ordered the same thing today and was charged more again...I asked and the girl told me it was because the bowl they put the food in if they call it a bowl instead of a burrito is more expensive. There is not any more food in the bowl than in the burrito so I don't understand why charging so much more...Why not put it in the same Styrofoam container as the smothered burrito and charge the same as the burrito? Tomorrow I will order the smothered burrito in the styrofoam container without a tortilla and see if I can get...
