Drive by at 2:00 and the parking lot was packed! I thought wow it must be something special so I stopped. Received a friendly greeting immediately and seated promptly. Mele (sp?) gave great attentive service. Food came out promptly, even with a packed house, and was hot. I will certainly try again even though I had a few concerns. Ordered the Tres Amigos Fajitas with beef, chicken and shrimp on rice with cheese sauce. It was fair at best. The shrimp was tasty but the tails were left on which was messy in as meal with sauce. The chicken was flavorless. Needed a marinade or something. Beef was tough and also needed a marinade. The small queso was wonderful but a tiny serving for the cost. The place is cool. Unrecognizable from what it looked like before, but I was surprised at the loud party atmosphere that early in the day … even for a Saturday. Like I said, the service I received will encourage me to try it again. Maybe I need to ask the server what to order like...
Read moreMy sister took me there on my birthday 11/10/24. I was thinking "Oh no, not another mexican restaurant", but let me tell you, I love this place. Our waiter didn't speak much english but he understood us, was such a delight and I don't think we had to ask for one thing, he brought everything to us before we could ask. Great service. The food was fabulous. My sister and I both had the beef fajitas. I also had a shrimp cocktail that had so much shrimp in that mug! It was delicious! We also tried the Jamaican Margarita, it was delicious and we also tried the Mongonado 70. When you order one of the drinks, you know you've had a drink. We had to split the Mongonado 70. We even tipped the bartender for making these exotic sexy drinks. Everything was so good! My only regret is that we didn't take pictures before we started devouring the wonderful food. Her birthday is Nov 17th, so we will be...
Read moreIt was our first time coming here by recommendation. I'll start off that the service was good. Waitress was attentive and very nice. The food was NOT good at all. There was 3 people in our party. We ordered birria tacos, quesadillas el paisa and a molcajete. The tacos simply had no flavor literally tasted like boiled meat with a tomato sauce broth, the quesadillas were cold, and the molcajete was cold. If anyone knows about molcajetes they are supposed to come out piping hot, cheese is supposed to be melted, well this was not the case. You could touch the molcajete and the cheese was just cut into sticks and placed in it. The manager came over and had molcajete re made, not much difference. The music was so loud that it felt like i was in a club. They finally turned it down. First...
