Diamond Lanes — Local services in Odessa

We LOVED Diamond lanes. Untill last weekend! We went with a group of about 9! We went at $10 a person. It was wonderful. Except for the RUDE, SLOW, DISMISSIVE “Bartender” or what ever you call that. 30 min, for a pitcher that he was so rude about having to get. Had 3 people in front of me order a mix drink. Not only did it take 28 min to make the 3… when they said may we have one more his words were as followed “no I’m not making any more of that shit. You can have a beer or nothing” i was APPLED!! As somebody being in this industry for 10 years.. wow!! Final… bar closes at 10:30. At 9:40 i went to order another pitcher for our group and he looked at me and said”no, I’m done giving anybody shit. I’m done and I’m closed” i went and got the manager and when she questioned him.. he walked right past her and said “i said i was done selling any of the shit” and shut us out of the bar..

If you are the owner or manager of this establishment…. Take this into consideration. He is going to kill your business and he is going to kill business for your other staff members and bartenders that are great at their job. I heard he was family and I understand, but sometimes business decisions have to be made..

We plan to go back. We’ll just call first and make sure he is not...

If you're looking for a safe place,to learn,or simply get away. Diamond lanes is your place! To ladies who run the bar,to the front desk workers,to the kitchen ladies,hell to even the league bowlers. We do our best to make league members and non members/public thrill seekers feel like they are a part of a league. THE SNACK BAR CHICKEN STRIPS AND CHILI CHESE FRIES ARE TO DIE FOR! I highly recommend getting linked into league nights,events for kids,and senior leagues. We keep the young straight and the old going. With that being said if you're looking to get a equipment and join a team go see my big brother Scotty Pope down in the proshop! He's a legit pro and the best of the best at getting anyone started! Can't wait...

Management has improvements to do. This facility meets standards just enough to satisfy your bowling needs. BUT it lacks hospitality, courtesy and maintenance. On top of everything, this is not a daycare center. If children are brought along, they should be supervised. They should care more about their league members, they choose not to use A/C for their customers to save a penny. They choose to use light oil on the lanes to save that same penny.. Pin machines constantly going down and not cycling.. Staff members are extremely slow and show zero enthusiasm to assist customers. And the bar inventory is lacking. You are better...
