Jalisco’s on 8th — Restaurant in Odessa

So this used to be our favorite place to dine in the food is good and that’s the only thing I can say about it now this is about the third or fourth time that my mom and I had been in there to dine in the first couple of times we were thinking, maybe they’re busy maybe they had something going on or maybe it was the cashier/waitress was having a bad day OK hey, those things happen right but because this was our second time coming in, we were in last week we got the same level of attentiveness that we got last week which was next to nothing we were basically ignored in the freaking corner not once did our waitress asked us if we wanted more chips not once did she ask us if we wanted more drink not once did she come by and ask if anything was OK. Basically she ignored us. There was a couple in front of us and she went directly to them and the side of us She went to them and asked them all the appropriate questions we were ignored, another thing is that we both got the specials. We added it up according to the menu and we were overcharged and when I asked her what was going on and why we were overcharged the waitress pretended that she didn’t know they were specials and looked at me and my mom like we fell out of a tree never again will we go back to this restaurant. I’m sorry, but because we don’t work in the oil fields Or because we weren’t men didn’t warrant the Lack of attentiveness, that should have been there. I can almost guarantee you, because of the two other tables that this waitress was a very attentive to wear men and they were oil filled because we went during lunch. I am leaving this review because I have read many reviews like the experience I have had many times! I wanted to let everyone know that yes the waitresses do overcharge. And they do add gratuity when they want to. But the way to get around this I have found out is to order online as a pick up. I use Uber eats. The prices are the same as the menu and you don’t have to deal with the overcharging. When you do go to pick up your food, you will have to wait because it will never be ready on time. Please take my advice and when you order from this place do a pick up order and pay for it online. So you will not get ripped off by this restaurant. Food is pretty good. I stick to...
