The lady that was helping me, she stopped scanning my items and answered the phone and attended the person that was on the phone, in another occasion there was this girl I had never seen her before, she was conversating with this other lady that was back in that room where they do the cooking and I was standing there I would say 5 ft away from them, ready for someone to help me, so I was just there staring at them while they were just standing there ignoring me? and talking, I felt like walking out! And leaving everything there on the counter? she finally came like about 3 minutes to the register to to help me. So this time I bought some sweet bread next day, it got hard?    Read moreI'm Juanita from Odessa TX , this bakery was my childhood bakery in the 80s n my kids love this place to , well I've bearily started to go back , may be I have a month , every Friday I would get tamales from them , they said they stayed selling tamales at 8:00 am n they close the kitchen at 2:00, well this past Friday I came as usual to get my dozen of tamales, before 1:00 they said they sold out I thought it was kinda of unusual, but I said ok I'll just come back tomorrow morning which was this Saturday ,so I came back Saturday morning at 9:00 they said they didn't have any tamales cus they sold out , I thought that was strange that lady with the blonde her told me they sold out with her fake smile!!! I got weird vibes , bad vibes from this place n from her at that moment, how could they just sell out it's a in one hour , I didn't like that vibe ,I'm never going back that...
   Read moreTbh , It's o--k . Im new in the area and I LOVE PAN DULCE . I'm like a pan dulce connoisseur . Lol However, The bread barely has flavor and is dry . The conchas were really dry and the top coating was too sweet and also dry . The 'marranitos' had no flavor whatsoever and was pretty bitter cause of so much anis used in them . And pretty much the same with the rest cause I grabbed one of every type . Honestly, the cashier was friendly but sadly the bread is not good . Not my panaderia and if you love pan dulce and actually want something good/traditional this is not the place. Hope...
