Jaliscos To Go — Restaurant in Odessa

Good morning, everyone. I wanna share with you a lovely experience about a Lovely Local Businesses in Odessa, with Great, Loving, Caring people. Last night, almost at closing time, I was passing by with my Mom through this Mexican food drive-thru restaurant that she loves. She have had a very bad day due to her health issues and just in this month had gone to the hospital 3 times and yesterday was one of the worst, because her diagnosis was not very good. So we're passing she turns to look at the restaurant then at me, and I say, "You want that burrito, don't you" so I turn around " Let's see if they still open and if they'll make you your burrito" We get there and the young gentleman who's always so sweet with my Mom, sees her and smiles, he said "we're closing already but let me see if I can make your burrito", he comes back and said yes. My mom's eyes bright up and tear up. Why? you may ask is just a burrito. No, is not just a burrito. She's been dealing with so much difficulties, where her diet has been extremely restricted, she had a very difficult day from the moment she woke up, I had to rush her to the hospital and after that, she went to get dialysis, and it was already so late by the time she was out,so she was tired, hungry, frustrate with all her health issues. So, getting to enjoy a burrito that she loves was the highlight of her day. She enjoyed it so much. The people at this restaurant are so kind hearted towards my mom, the days she's not with me when I go, always ask for her, some even call my mom on the phone to check up on her. This place serves more than just a meal for you to enjoy, they brighten your day, with smiles, kind words and great service. Thank you to all the people who work at Jaliscos Drive-thru for always been do kind to my Mom. God...

First time trying it here. I wanted menudo and my usual spot was closed so I came here to try it out since it didn’t require me getting out of my car lol They were fast and friendly and the menudo was delicious! I’m picky when it comes to my menudo and they definitely passed! Will start coming here more often!

Edit* came back a 2nd time for menudo since I loved it the first time. This time it was not good. It wasn’t terrible but it was not good. Idk if someone else made it and that’s the reason why but I like to go to a place where it is always good and I won’t be disappointed. My favorite spot is closed on Sundays and Mondays and far from where I live so I guess I’ll be looking for a other choice other than...

I pull up to the drive thru lane and there are two vehicles in front of me and one pulls up behind me. One of the employees takes all of our orders at the same time and takes mental notes. As she is about to walk off she repeats my order but forgot one of my burritos so I remind her. She then comes out to tell me they don’t have menudo not tamales 🙁. Long story short the vehicle in front of me and I were still in line over 20 minutes later and the vehicle behind me got their food and drinks before us. Service a bit slow and they were out of several items...
