Really fast in and out at the time we went through, although there was quite a line. We went through the drive-in and even with 7 or 8 cars in front of us, we had our order and were on our way really fast. Not sure if this was a record time but they definitely had everything working like a well oiled machine.
Everything was fresh, so they had the cook vs serve queue really well calibrated that day, no wait to catch up cooking but nothing aged enough under heat lamps to tell.
Admittedly we may have arrived at a perfect confluence of events as a statistical outlier anomaly but even on the longest lines and wait earlier in the year it likely was the fastest time to food going into belly of the options along 8th street.
We typically stop by here on a roughly quarterly basis because it is right on the way home from someone's doctor appointments, and after a long morning cooling heels in a waiting room on an empty stomach until they finally get the specimens for all the tests, the patient is hungry and wants "Food. Now!"
With certain foods the patient can't have, the breakfast menu extended hours is a blessing, as it means I don't have to go across town to a more expensive and slower option, and that translates to getting the patient fed and dropped off faster, and significantly reduces my NPT (non-productive time).
So if you are eastbound from the downtown area along 8th or 7th street, it has been a fast in and out...
Read moreEntered drive thru at 9:37 am. The usual line wrapped around the corner was nothing new. Took order at 9:48 after being put in hold twice. Cashier couldn't figure out how to take the order properly but at least apologized. Got to first window and the first lady was polite and said hello but didn't repeat the order back to me. Before pulling up to the second window the cashier was holding my bag of food out the window. After pulling up to the window he handed me my order with his back turned. No greeting, once again no one repeated the order. Inside the bag were two napkins and no condiments. Never even asked if I wanted any. Sat and waited for my coffees as well. The cashier then hands me the coffees and just stands there looking at me. Here's where you say something like thank you, come back and see us. But no thank you was given. The impression I got was, "here's your food now get out." Not a very good experience and the best part is the manager was standing right there! Instead of being a Karen and complaining I'd just leave the experience on here and let you decide if this is where you want to spend your money. A simple thank you goes a long...
Read moreI went to the drive-through. I ordered a cheeseburger kids meal and a couple of pies. The little girl said it would be nine dollars and some change. I pulled and paid. Went to the window. That little girl handed me a drink and some apple pies. I asked her where the cheeseburger happy meal was.. Twice. She called her manager. I asked the manager where the cheeseburger meal was and they told me to give them just a minute. I looked at my receipt and realized that I was charged almost $15. I figured it wasn’t a big deal. It was just a few more dollars and I was starving. When they had the happy meal, I opened it and it was a six piece nugget happy meal. At this point I was aggravated and just asked for my money back. I gave everything back and then put my card in the machine to get my refund. Before I pulled my bank account. It had not been put back in my account and I told the manager. She said it would take a few minutes. It’s been over 30 minutes and the money is still not in my account. I guess my next step is to call corporate. I expect them to do...
