The Coffee House — Restaurant in Odessa

Not sure when The Coffee House opened, but I absolutely LOVE it. So nice to have another brick and mortar coffee shop in Odessa. Such a cozy, quaint and friendly environment to meet a friend or just hang out! And the coffee is AMAZING! Not too strong and the add ons are just right! They know what they are doing! I don't know if you know, but they also serve Lamar donuts, which are some of the best donuts around! I was sad when Black Box closed, so this was a pleasant surprise! High Starbucks prices, as if they have homemade baked goods, on cheap donuts marked up 300% ($3 for a 99 cent donut? 🤯). Coffee was generally okay, but $10/cup.

Service was polite and helpful, but the atmosphere was a tad awkward because it’s pushing Christianity in your face. (Bible verse art over the walls, music playing, etc.)

Excellent coffee gathering experience at this fine coffee shop. Kayla provided an excellent background on the history of the establishment, while also sharing some fun ideas to help the organization connect with the community.
