Wendy's — Restaurant in Odessa

I usually order my burgers “all the way,” but this time I just wanted veggies—no ketchup, no mayo. That’s exactly what I asked for. When I checked my bag, my burger came with mayo, and I kindly brought it back inside and asked for a replacement without mayo. I was polite, smiled, and thanked them.

They handed me a new burger, and I left. I wish I had checked it again before heading back to work, because when I opened it, it had mustard on it—something I didn’t ask for either, and wasn’t originally on the first one or any burger that I’ve ever ordered at Wendys. At that point, it felt intentional.

I later called to let them know what happened, and the employee tried to lie and tell me that “all our burgers come with ketchup, mustard, and mayo,” which isn’t true. She also snidely said, “we tried to give you what you wanted.”

Again, I was never rude to the staff at any point. I come to this Wendy’s often because I work close. I simply asked for what I wanted and remained respectful the entire time. It’s honestly disappointing that you can’t even request a simple correction without someone being petty. I would not recommend this Wendy’s. These are the kind of employees that make you worry about what else might be done to your food.

Ordered a baconator single...I know it come with 3 slices of bacon and 2 slices of cheese. The burger seems really small now, Like closer to a jr bacon. I opened the "baconator to find 2 slices of bacon, each about the size of a quarter. Does that even qualify as a slice....I'm not sure. I never write reviews but having to leave my house to drive back and have it remade was already an inconvenience. While I'm here I might as well mention that Wendy's used to have the best fountain coke, hands down, no competition. Since they have done the new system a few years ago, it is the worst coke of all fast food. Always taste like a mixture of all the sodas mixed together. I hate to be "that" person and complain. But I ordered a PLAIN son of a baconator and a kids meal with a "under age 3 toy" after getting my meal with no receipt I return back to the hotel to only find that there's no toy in the kids meal and my sandwich is not plain. No biggie to me but what if I had some food allergy to ketchup or mayonnaise? I even waited 5 minutes for this burger even when there was no one behind me and someone just left in front of me and the parking lot wasnot jam packed.please, take your time to get orders right before you could possibly hurt someone.
