We stopped in for lunch and immediately we were greeted. Had drinks within 2 minutes and were having soup/salad within another 2 minutes of ordering! Fast! Food was also good, I had the steak sandwich which was served on a real bun (not toast) and it was great! My husband had the daily special of a pizza burger & fries with soup. He also ordered pie for desert and it was great. The prices were very reasonable, my 8oz sirloin sandwich with salad and fries was around $13! I will come again. Bathrooms were very clean, easy street entrance with street parking, we walked about 20 steps to get in and there were several customers eating. Fun, kitschy thing is to ring the bell on your way out if you had good food & good service! The outside of the building, although tidy doesn't prepare you for how cute the inside is decorated! Diane had the cod fish sandwich with fries. The fish was thick, tender, crispy and flavorful. The roll was soft and fresh. The dries were hot and mostly crisp. I had the all-you-can-eat fried chicken special. I could only eat the original 4 pieces she brought out but it was still worth it. The chicken was not crispy but more of the original KFC with its very own blend of seasoning that soaked all into the meat. We both had a cup of the bean & ham soup. We headed to Ma and Pa's on this rainy Sunday after church. On the way I realized that they would be closing about 30 minutes after we would be arriving. I called to make sure it would be okay to come and they said it would be fine 👍 Wife ordered the pizza burger and I got the homemade tenderloin sandwich. Both came with the soup of the day which was an absolutely delicious potato soup. She said her burger was really good. My tenderloin sandwich was amazing! Best I've ever had! Huge piece of pork that was tender, moist, and had a fantastic breading. Great food at decent prices. Looking forward to returning and trying...
