I enjoy Burger King and this is the second closest to my home. I was excited about making this my new favorite location.
Online said they were open at midnight but they closed at 9 p.m. luckily I arrived 15 minutes beforehand.
The order taker could not hear me clearly over the intercom. We tried three or four times, I was the only car so was asked to pull to the window.
I inquired if the lettuce on the Whopper was shredded. ( I enjoy McDonald's shredded lettuce, could not remember if Burger King had the same choice.) He said, "Yes we only have shredded." Yay! But the burger lettuce was torn. Boo h oo.The little things make a big difference. If he had told me no I would have been fine but my expectations were improperly set.
I enjoy their current 2 sandwiches for $5 .00. The chicken sandwich that is NOT on the special is DELICIOUS. I like that the special allows you to mix and match out of five items.
I order "extra everything plus mustard" on my Whopper. Some locations seem to not charge for that. I am fine paying $0.50 extra here.
I'm used to doing mobile ordering but that's messy and seriously unfun at Burger King. This Sunday night they had a special texted to my phone: free delivery with a $5 mobile order. So I thought I would attempt the uncool experience again. The app would not allow an order to be placed. Par. But the advertisement made me in they mood so I decided to brave the cold and do an early midnight snack/late dinner.
My order was served warm delicious and fast.
The window attendant was courteous. Mobile orders are charged before reaching the window. (Yes, Sadly at Burger King you have to go through the drive-thru in line to the window. Always.) Since continued (unsuccessfully) trying to do a mobile order at stop lights on my way to the restaurant, I arrived. Order at the intercom style and when I reach the window realized I only had a $100.00 bill. (Covid uncool, certainly.) I was made to feel comfortable, the appreciated comment that "a manager would have to help". I appreciated knowing why the window was being closed and the attendant walking away. Great communication, very appreciated! I was pleased with how quickly change came back. Not counted but handed to me coins and bills in one bulk. The little things DO make a big difference and I was great with everything in this paragraph.
Everytime I enjoy a Whopper my favorite 'extra everything with mustard, style'. I know why they do not serve that way regularly. Quite gloppy, messy, almost need a bib. Hmmm, bib...great idea 💡!
Whoppers charbroiled hamburger meat smells good. I pulled over and immediately ate in the parking lot, in my car. 😋
Worth every effort.
Imagine if Burger King made the few changes necessary to make mobile ordering smooth and fast, like McDonald's?!? I see their whole business improving with just small tweaks. Sadly as they operate now they are losing business.
Recently I have known a store to be out of burger meat on a weekend day. One stop at the location nearest my house they were out of ketchup, pickles and tomatoes. I knew of two of the three and only discovered no tomatoes as I drove away. So I returned to the window asking for tomatoes and possibly a packet of ketchup like they give for French fries. They had neither.
I am new to Utah and never had this type of 'run out of food experience' at a Burger King. I enquired why they don't go to a grocer and get ketchup? A manager told me they're allowed to do that for mayonnaise but not ketchup.
So obvious to a consumer how Burger King could make the experience 7th Heaven. Sadly I understand the chain is hurting and may not last. Please tweak a bit, much is right here.
I don't know how this could be but was told even if the manager orders proper amounts of food Burger King trucks may not have that on board. What? (Why troubles experienced only in Utah?)
This location came close enough. Strange to appreciate when your burger has everything advertised. Right? They now favorited on my BK app.

Read moreI am ringing in with a astonishing single star across the board because me my lady and my dog had to sit in the Drive-Thru for quite some time before we were able to place our order upon placing our order or order taker was not listening and we had to repeat ourselves and are very simple order multiple times to get it putting the computer correctly upon paying and receiving our meal we decided to add a water for our dog as it was a hot day I did not tell our server it was for our dog and we were charged 25 cents for the water it was normally 27 cents so we got a two Penny discount however are water came with no straw and our order taker/server didn't stick around long enough to make sure we didn't need anything else it was just plain rude after that we went and parked in some shade to eat our food quite a few blocks down the road at which moment we discovered that none of our burgers were made the way they were supposed to be I tried to contact the store multiple times however this store has a automated hangup so it will ring a few times and then hang up you will never get a hold of a person no matter how many times you call my lady spent upwards of 7 hours trying to call off and on and they never answered one of her phone calls crazy now I got to drive all the way across town to get our orders replaced and wouldn't you know he didn't even give us our receipt perfect this one will go down in the history books like a...
Read moreI get it, tonight is a holiday. But that isn't an excuse to cut corners the way this place did tonight.
Our order consisted of a Spicy country chicken sandwitch small combo. A whopper sandwich combo with Onion Rings and a Rasberry ice tea with a chocolate shake on the side for my little sister. I don't think it's too complex, right?
What we got was as follows: Grilled Chicken sandwich w/ Small fries and a medium drink?? A whopper w/ Medium fries??? And don't even get me started on that sorry excuse of a shake! Aren't shakes supposed to be mixed? Because unless something changed, what we got was vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup drizzled on top and sandwitched between a dollop of whipped cream.
What makes it worse is we heard everything being said while we waited because they didn't shut the window. "Don't worry, it'll be fine." "What are you doing? You gotta mix it!" "Oh well!"
Gee-wowie-willikers! Didn't realize we were such an inconvenience for you! I work fast food part time. I get that you want to go home and sleep, and nobody wants to work on a holiday. But we didn't do anything except ask for good food and the staff tonight barely cared if we got half of...
