I have been eating Pizza Hut for 50 years. I haven't eaten pizza lately due to digestion issues, but I got a craving that wouldn't go away, so I went online to order. I ordered a three topping pizza for $11.99. Since it was my first time using the app and ordering online, it took me a while to order a pizza, and I didn't get the toppings selected. That's on me. It would have been nice if there had been some kind of pop up that asked "Hey, did you forget the toppings" but like I said that was on me. My first surprise was the total after the delivery fee and tip. I always want the driver to have something. But then there is also the delivery fee. My $12 pizza ended up coming to $21 and change. I could have lived with the fact that I ended up with a cheese pizza, and maybe even the total it came to, if it had been a good pizza. It was awful! There was about two inches all around the edge with nothing but a few burnt crumbles of cheese that strayed from the meager amount of cheese scattered in the center, which was also burnt. There was a little sauce that tasted more like tomato sauce than pizza sauce. Since I was hungry, I ate the center, with a healthy sprinkling of salt, and tossed the rest in the garbage. It was so bad, that it has cured me from ever craving a Pizza Hut pizza again. Anyone who sends something like that out, even at $5, should hang their head in shame. I've had grocery store pizzas that were culinary masterpieces compared to that sorry thing I...
Read moreI ordered two pizzas with extra cheese. Once I arrived at this location to pick them up the MOD proceeded to show me each pizza. Both pizzas had patches of dough completely uncovered with cheese. The MOD 'explained this away' saying the cheese had melted in between the slices of pizza. I then questioned why there would be any part of the pizza not covered with cheese when I'd ordered extra cheese. She told me that the extra cheese was really not that much more (even though they charge you $2 for it!) and that the pizza was covered with plenty of cheese according to their standards. I told her I disagreed with her standards and that they would not be getting anymore of my business. The pizza should be covered in enough cheese initially so that the whole pie is covered, then extra cheese should simply thicken the existing layer of cheese. It is completely unacceptable to have a pizza pie with dough exposed when one has ordered extra cheese. This pathetic effort to 'save money' by screwing the customer out of pizza's most basic topping will lose this location money in the long run as they will lose customers. Oh, it also had zero sauce on it. Like literally none. It looked as if someone had poured an ounce of sauce on the pie and spread it over the entire thing. Not an exaggeration. Wonder if that is 'enough sauce' by their standards as well... Pizza Hut has gone WAY down hill the last...
Read moreWe placed an order a bit late at night around 10:00 PM. After about 15 minutes, my wife realized that she had not updated the website with our new address. That was our bad and should have been an easy fix. We called the number on the web site and were sent to the call center. After being on hold for about 15 more minutes my wife told them what the problem was. They said that they had to transfer her to the physical store. Great, let’s do that....there was no answer from the store and she was then re-routed back to the call center and then on hold again for like 15 more minutes. The guy finally answers and my wife was getting increasingly upset so at this point, she just wanted to cancel the order. The guy actually had the audacity to place her back on hold.
Now at this point, we no longer cared about the order. It had been about an hour and we were getting nowhere with these clowns. We were going to pay with cash and so we had not payed yet and would not be out any money so our level of caring was getting smaller. Finally, we gave up and decided that they could just deliver our order to the wrong house and try and get them...
