Two days ago, on March 26, I pulled in the parking lot at 9:30pm hoping to just quickly grab a sub and go home. I made sure that the store was still open online and it said they closed at 10:00pm. I walked up to the door and noticed that there was a man moping the floor and that the whole rooms floor was covered in water. At first, I thought it was weird, but then I thought they were just doing pre-close tasks. I then tried to open the door and realized it was locked. They locked the doors 30 minutes early. There were two men working, fully grown men, might I add, not teenagers. Not only did they not tell me, âhey weâre closedâ, or âdrive thru onlyâ. The man mopping was laughing at my failed attempt to open the door. I just stood there for a second before I got back in my car, just in case they were going to unlock it for me. I wasnât going to write a bad review, as I did not want to stoop as low as they did, but I realized that it isnât worth it to keep quiet. I have worked in multiple fast food restaurants, and it was never acceptable to lock the doors and deny customers until the minute it hit 10:00, or else the employees faced immediate termination. If anything, I would understand maybe 5-10 minutes before close, but a whole half hour? I am not sure if this was a âonly the drive thru is openâ sort of situation, but even so, it could have been handled so much better than a grown man laughing at me and not letting me know if it was drive thru only. This is completely unacceptable and should not go...
Read moreI don't know why I keep giving this place chances, but I'm done now. Ordering through the app is guaranteed to have them mess up your order. Seriously, unless you're in there babysitting them while they make your food, your sandwich will NOT be what you want. My wife hates onion, olives, and anything spicy. The sandwich we ordered through the app (WHICH PRINTS OUT AN INGREDIENT LIST ON THE RECEIPT FOR THEM TO READ AND FOLLOW ALONG STEP BY STEP) was an oven roasted turkey sandwich, with lettuce, spinach, tomato, salt, pepper, and mayo. That's it. And yet these bozos somehow found a way to put banana peppers, onion, and olives on it, which by the time we got there to pick up had soaked their flavors into the sandwich and became inedible to my very selective eater wife.
On top of that, their prices are INSANE. $12 for a turkey sub? Get out of here with that nonsense.
The only redeeming quality was the footlong cookie. It...
Read moreThis one subway is the cleanest and fresh ingredients for subs than any other subway in Painesville Ohio I live in Perry, I don't mind driving to this one location rather than to the Bacon Rd one due to how clean the place is and how everything is frosted in ice ,like each container of food and it's always full and nothing is ever warm or sitting in water or not looking good ,This location is the best subway by far. . I'll keep going back to this one subway rather than to get sub toppings sitting in water or not even cold , Even there meats was looking good not like they've been sitting there all week dry n warm . And other locations the cookies where rock hard . At this location cookies melt in your mouth and warm to the touch.. only wish they were open till...
