Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Ohio

Update 4-19-23 A lot has changed since my initial review and will be outlined below. Since my initial review there has been some management changes and it shows in the quality of food and service we now receive at this location. They have twice as many workers as they once did but everybody is standing around gossiping about each other and worrying about what they are going to post to their social media accounts rather than worrying about their customers. The food is constantly cold except when it needs to be, the ice cream is a lot softer and melts more easily. I hate to say it since I've been going to this DQ for years and years, but I've just about had enough of their staff and poor quality food. Might end up saying goodbye and driving the extra 10 minutes to the next closest DQ in Portsmouth.

Original Review: As always the food at DQ was good. We mainly enjoy the desserts but every once in awhile we splurge on a meal at this location. The food is somewhat higher in price than other, nearby, fast food locations. For a 2 person meal with desserts your looking at $25+. The facility is always clean and the workers are mostly friendly. They tend to hire younget than most places, and this sometimes leads to a lot of the workers standing around doing nothing but gossiping and playing on their phone. I would seriously give -10 if I could on their service, food, attitude so so rude they think they are better than customers who come through to order food it's the absolutely most embarrassing restaurant in Wheelersburg or for that matter any restaurant I have ever been to. Placed a mobile order that cost about $28. Got home and they shorted us a 3pc chicken strip basket with onion rings. Called to have the order fixed so we could pick up what we paid for. Had to tell my issue to three different people, 2 of which were managers, then I was told that they were convinced that my order was correct, insinuating that I was lying. I offered to take pics to show them that what I got and my receipt did not match. My husband then got on the phone and spoke with the area manager and she decided to fix our order.
