Grizzly Bean Coffee House — Restaurant in Ohio

Alright let’s talk about the key to my heart and soul, Grizzly Bean Coffee House! I’ve been going since they opened and I won’t lie at first I was not the biggest fan but from then to now there have been so so many improvements! I have had an amazing experience every time I go.

I always get the same thing every time I order which is a Beary Berry Lemonade, Papa Bear Sandwich, and a hash brown. I have never had a bad drink, bad experience, or bad food. My food always comes out hot and fresh and my drinks are consistent. Their speed of service is amazing and I will never not stop telling people to go to Grizzly Bean.

The Papa Bear Sandwhich is so dang delicious. It is a classic belgian waffle with sugar on top and maple syrup to bring it all together. It works so cohesively well with the egg and cheese!

The hash browns are always hot and fresh and I usually get the Grizzly Sauce which in my world is the better version of the canes sauce.

Lastly, the Beary Berry Lemonade is sweet yet has a bit of a bite to it. It’s sour and fruity and it always hits the spot for the day!

Im so happy this spot came to Austintown it’s been such a blessing to have a local small business that’s conveniently on my way to work. Also shoutout to the barista Mira and Mark for always making my experiences so wonderful!! Here’s to many many more Beary Berry Lemonades!!

Update: So it’s been a few months or so since this review and unfortunately my rating is dropped not due to the baristas, atmosphere of the business, but rather the pricing and drink availability.

I can’t drink caffeine or dairy which means no coffee, and I absolutely loved their Berry Beary Lemonade but now I can no longer drink it because all their refreshers are now caffeinated of their alternative is made with dairy. On top of that while I do understand this is a small business with small business costs, the drinks are now around $7, when a refresher in a large size down the street with customizations is only around $5.75.

I love Grizzly Bean, but they need to have more drink options and consider how feasible their pricing is. I would still 100% go back someday but honestly at the moment not...

This is my 2nd stop at Grizzly Bean Coffee House here in Austintown, Ohio. The first time there, I stopped to check out their menu and what they had to offer, as far as coffees. I believe the owner was there considering it was the same day the local news station interviewed them. He told me all about what they had and what he recommended as far as the menu goes. He recommended pretty much everything on the menu!!

This morning, I decided it's time to stop and give their sandwiches a try. I ordered the Grizzly Bee, with your choice of Sausage or Bacon for the meat part of it, which I didn't realize I had that choice. So myself I would rather have the sausage patty over the bacon. It was absolutely one of the best breakfast sandwiche I've had from a small business. The staff was friendly, cheerful, and answered any and all my questions when it came to ordering. They went above and beyond, and when another customer came in after I had arrived, they greeted them with the same respect and friendliness that I received when I came into the business.

I also ordered the Avacodo Toast, with Guacamole, bagel all seasoning, feta seasoning, feta cheese and choice of Hot Honey or Grizzly Sauce, I opted for the Hot Honey, I forgot to mention it is done on a multi grain bread and toasted. It was a good sandwich as well.

I wanted just a large black coffee, their house coffee has a great taste, not weak, not too strong, myself I prefer a coffee that's as dark as used motor oil, but all in all its a great coffee! They also sell the coffee so you are able to make some at home as well.

If you're in the area and looking for something quick, good and friendly service and staff stop in and check them out!

So my boyfriend walks in and goes, “I found the bean!”—and no, not a weird riddle—Grizzly Bean Café, and honestly? It was love at first sip.

He got a drip coffee—classic, bold, just like him. I went full Swiftie and ordered the Lavender Haze—and yes, I was feelin’ all too well after one dreamy sip. Tay would be proud. 💜🎤

The café’s aesthetic? Cutest thing since the “You Belong With Me” music video. Think: cozy bear vibes meets quirky cool. They even sell adorable knick-knacks like car air freshener stickers, makeup bags, and other treasures I absolutely didn’t need but had to buy. Retail therapy + caffeine? Yes please.

Grizzly Bean is now officially the place—whether you’re looking for coffee, cozy vibes, or your next Swiftie anthem in latte form. 10/10 would get caught in a Lavender Haze again. 💅✨
