Went here because of rave reviews and it was good but nothing to write home about. First of all, the Pork Chop Suey had no bean sprouts in it so, I don't know if that's the way they make it... or if we got someone else's order... but it was good anyway. Next, the Kung Pao Shrimp had ample large shrimp, everything I'd expect to be in it (except maybe some cubed broccoli stems for a little more crunch, which I'm sure they'd do if I asked). The sauce was good and I could see red pepper flakes in it but it was not spicy, not hot (which, again, they'd probably correct if I asked). Then, there's the Egg Foo Young which was good but had a slight sweetness to it that I'm not used to. Soy Sauce didn't correct it. I don't know if it was because it was Chicken which I don't usually get or what. Lastly, the Pork Fried Rice which had ample pork and onion, (and I'm glad to say, no peas and carrots) but it also had a slight sweetness to it. Over all, it was good and I'd probably go back with my requests and...
Read moreThis is some of the WORST American Chinese food I have ever had as are all Main Moons in the area. I can't even begin to articulate the flavors of my food. I ordered the General Tsos combination and a side of crab Rangoon. Asked the young lady to make it hot/spicy and she seemed confused, claiming it already is spicy. Not for my tastes, trust me. But instead of extra hot oil or paste I got a small side of General Tsos sauce which was basically useless and nowhere near spicy. Once tasted I realized this doesn't taste like ANY Chinese food I've ever had. As a matter of fact, it doesn't taste like ANY food I've ever had. The fried rice as well. The wontons were over cooked and mushy. Huh?
What a sad first time experience with this location and my third with Main Moon and I promise my last with this company. Their food is down...
Read moreI love this place. I have been ordering a few times a month for over a year now, and can confidently vote 5 stars. Their General Tso’s chicken is SO TASTY, and they never have an issue with making it “only a little spicy” for me. The dinners are very affordable, and they give you plenty of food. My boyfriend and I can get STUFFED off one dinner together, and still have leftovers for lunch the next day. We spend under $15 for a practical feast. I should also mention that every single time I have called in, each person I have spoken to is quick, but definitely nice. I can’t comment on delivery, but I am always happy when I pick up to find a brown paper bag in a plastic bag, containers inside sealed tight and stacked neatly, and free plastic forks and...
