⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Local Gem in a Charming Town! Mayberry Ice Cream in Sylvania, Ohio is everything you hope for in a small-town ice cream shop — warm, welcoming, and absolutely delicious. From the moment you walk up to the quaint little building with its retro charm and inviting atmosphere, you feel like you’ve stepped back into simpler, sweeter times. The ice cream itself is phenomenal — creamy, rich, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Whether you’re a fan of classic flavors like vanilla bean and chocolate fudge or prefer to branch out into seasonal favorites and unique blends, there’s truly something for everyone here. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the staff is always cheerful and patient — especially when kids (or adults!) are having a hard time picking just one flavor. One of the highlights of visiting Mayberry is the setting. Located in the heart of Sylvania, a beautiful and family-friendly suburb just outside of Toledo, the neighborhood adds so much to the experience. The tree-lined streets, well-kept homes, and nearby parks create a picturesque backdrop that makes enjoying your cone or sundae outside feel like a scene from a movie. After grabbing your treat, take a stroll through downtown Sylvania. The area is full of charm — local shops, cozy cafés, and flower-filled planters line the sidewalks. It’s a community that feels close-knit and proud, and Mayberry fits right in as a beloved gathering spot for families, teens, and anyone looking to slow down and enjoy life for a few minutes. All in all, Mayberry Ice Cream is a must-visit whether you’re a Sylvania local or just passing through. It’s the kind of place that turns a simple stop for ice cream into a cherished memory.

I rode my bike here to get ice cream and had a lovely time. The young ladies that served us were nice and the ice cream was yummy. They have tables outside the ice cream place to sit and a lobby with plenty of seats, too.

We love this place! We just discovered it this summer even though we've lived in Sylvania for a few years now. The ice cream is awesome, it is always clean, and the staff are very friendly. As a mom I appreciate that they have a high chair and a basket of coloring items for the kids to use. They had a blueberry ice cream(maybe cheesecake or waffle cone, I can't remember.) that was their flavor of the week, it was absolutely delicious! Maybe that could be in regular rotation?! Both of my children(5 & 2) and my husband also give it...

I stopped in for an ice cream on a Sunday afternoon. There were two people getting served. And no one acknowledge me. Two other people walked in behind me and got served. It appeared that you had to go to the cash register first. Not knowing this, I was confused at first. But of the three employees working not a single one acknowledged my existence while I stood there. No hi how are you? No, may we help you? No sir, please order at the cash register first. Nothing so I left. Ira not Just poor customer service...
