I ordered a large fresh fry and large drink to go. I herd the girl that took my order talking to a guy and he was confirming well done frys. Once I got her attention I reiterated my order and said I ordered Fresh frys not well done. The girl had red hair from a real bad color job and glasses. She immediately had an attitude and responded with "he knows".I turned to go get my drink and before I was even finished they had tossed a bag on the stand infront of the counter and said nothing. There was also no paper on the outside with my number which was 248. My order was time stamped 5:12. I looked in the bag and saw just fries that were well done. So I proceeded to try and get her attention, once I did I said these are not fresh fries. She started to argue with me saying yes they were. I stated that I observed no fries being dopped. And she said they just came up before I ordered. To which I replied there not fresh I was standing at the counter for several minutes before anyone bothered to acknowledge me. To which she replied "whatever". So I requested a refund. She was extremely rude to me while refunding only the frys which was time stamped 5:15. They tossed my So called fresh fries on that stand way before the refund. I told her there was no way they were fresh because I know for a fact it takes 3-4 min. For fresh fries. Those fries were up in 2-2.5 min. I didn't even have enough time to get my drink and the fries are already up?To which she replied it had been way longer than that. Well I noticed the drink wasn't refunded and she told me she wasn't going to refund it. I said if I'm not getting the fries why the hell do I want the drink. She finally refunded the drink. She said she was the manager. I can't believe someone would make her a manager. She acted like a spoiled bratty little teenager. Read moreEVERY time I go to this location, the employees are about the rudest people imaginable. They don't acknowledge you when you walk in the store (managers included) and if you have to order at the counter and not the kiosk... good luck. They take 5 to 10 minutes to come take your order. Had a girl just walk up and stand there. Didn't ask if I was ready. Just stood there silently staring at the screen so I had to ask her if SHE was ready in which I got a "yup" response. The gentleman a head of me said that he just wanted a sweet tea and she handed him a cup and didn't charge him and then I of course had to pay for mine and my kids fountain drinks. All the employees are constantly on their phones. Tables are dirty. Staff is yelling at each other (playfully) in the back but using language that just shouldn't be allowed. Especially in a place that consistently has children. Just sad because you feel like YOU'RE bothering the staff by just being a customer. I worked at McDonald's several times (fairborn locations) and management would have been on our necks for acting the way this staff has for years at this point. Not customer friendly, or fast. Store manager or owner even made a Facebook post on a Food Fiends page discussing a particular issues happening in the store and I expressed this same concern months ago. My comment got deleted after she said that she took measures to ensure the staff was better. But genuinely just the same. I get the majority of the staff are young. But when even the person running the store at the time isn't customer friendly either... that's sad. This location is typically my goto because my youngest has autism and it's typically more quiet and calm (no customers on the inside) for him. So we keep going back for that reason. Read moreI have attempted to be satisfied at this McDonald's many times in the past when visiting Springfield. My usual dissatisfaction is when I go through the drive-through. My last visit had been quite while. Therefore, my daughter, who is 6, and I decided to eat in today. Our cashier was very pleasant and the store seem very clean. The food was perfect.
I'm giving a 5 star to this restaurant today because of one individual who this McDonald's location should be proud to have as a member of their team - Michael. Take was very busy the entire time we were there making sure that the lobby and the eating areas were kept neat clean and organized. He didn't have to, but he went to my daughter and a another young girl to make sure that bigger toys from their happy meals were exactly what they wanted. He went out of his way twice to exchange toys. I'm not saying that needs to happen every time my child gets a toy but my daughter appreciates it.
