VS DONUTS — Restaurant in Springfield

I originally read a review on Facebook that this place had the best glazed donut! Boy were they wrong! This glazed donut was absolutely magical!! It was in its own container and filled the entire bottom. Like this was a beefy donut! And! AND It was warm! Like a perfect temperature warm. Not too hot, not luke warm either. The icing was not melted either creating a this glazed effect. As soon as I bit into it, it had this delicious soft crunch immediately followed by soft pillowy dough that was a warm vanilla dream that balanced the sweetness of the icing. I literally couldn't eat it quick enough!! The heavens opened, the angels sang! Now, I did purchase two breakfast croissants. They were a good size as well and tasted great. They tasted fresh! So this new lil Donut shop is super sweet 😍. I can't say how nice it is to have a small handmade donut shop back in Springfield. Our old local killed the way they use to make my old favs. I am eating these yummy ones that don't leave me with a belly ache 😋 I must warn you to go early or pre order from FB. I do wish the owner would create a website to order from. The apple fritters Long Johns and Bismarck sell out too fast!! The breakfast croissants are amazing and the pigs in a blanket look delicious although I have yet to try those. The staff is completely hard working friendly and curtious. I highly recommend you go get your sweet on but don't forget that you need the sandwich first 😉. These are the best in Springfield if your a donut fan!! Id love to give five stars...most everything was great!! The donuts and apple fritters are fresh, handmade, melt in your mouth with an airyness like heaven!! Best. Glazed, chocolate covered etc in town... I didnt try the coffee...i did get the bacon cheese egg croissant.. I was very 😞 disappointed...quantity good but the croissant was old. It tasted like and old packaged krogers past date ones. The egg was rubbery and bacon was not cooked all the way. It was also nuked. So...doo the donuts !!!!they get 5 plus stars!!!!.. Dont do the.
