We went in exactly at 8pm and were seated fairly quickly, but after that is when the service went down hill fast. Keep in mind there was one other table seated and three couples at the bar. Our waitress comes over after about 10 minutes of us sitting there whatever, takes our drink order and goes to put those through. It took another 10 minutes for 2 waters a frozen mixed drink and a coke to come out, the bartender end up walking around the bar and serving me my drink because it just was sitting there and melting. Waitress finally comes back with the rest of the drinks and takes our food order. Now it’s about 8:20 so we’re sitting waiting and my boyfriend and I finish our drink after about 45 minutes have past since our food order was taken and the waitress is literally nowhere to be found so we’re just sitting and waiting. I ended up walking up to the bar and ordering our drinks there because it was quicker. Another waitress who wasn’t serving us came by and said our food would be out momentarily. Nope 20 more minutes past and a table behind us was sat served drinks almost immediately. Then their food order was taken and within 20 minutes hot food was served to them, mind you we were still waiting on our meals. After another 20 minutes our food came out. Both my boyfriend and friends burger and fries were ice cold to the touch, my other friends Mac and cheese was so cold the cheese was stuck in the cast iron and the tenders that came with it were so dry and cold they weren’t edible. The only thing the waitress offered was to throw his mac back through the warmer. My salad was all wilted and they forgot the cheese curds and the chicken was so dry like it had been sitting. I was furious after waiting an hour and 40 minutes for food for it all to come out cold! Worst experience and the manager just kept making excuses. Will not be back or recommender this location to anybody GO TO THE BORADMAN LOCATION ALWAYS...
Read moreAte here with the family. On Saturday 6-17-23 Decent place, slightly busy.
Host was very pleasant and seated us immediately. She had on a walking boot and was very fast and polite at her job.
Took 7 mins for waitress to arrive for drink order. Drinks brought fast. Except it took another 10 mins for the alcohol drink. Had to wait for bartender to make.
Apps - Boom boom shrimp and mozz sticks . Both standard frozen drop in fryer and plate. Boom boom sauce was plenty and tasted good. Mozzarella sticks were decently cooked . Cheese was gooey and not leaking out. Served with marinara sauce.
Cheesesteak Phil m up with onion rings . Steak meat is standard pre packaged and cook on grill. Had red bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. In my opinion it needed less peppers and more mushrooms. Onion rings tasted great. Thick cut crispy texture. I’m sure just the frozen variety Fries were good. A little salty . But hot, fresh and crispy .
Wings garlic Parm . Great sauce and well cooked
BBQ wings were great.
Didn’t like the Golden garlic wings
Place is loud , has TVS , games for kids and seems very busy.
Service was good for most part. Did have to wait . But that’s expected.
Got the Very Berry Lemonade had Blackberry moonshine and UV Blue vodka . Drink was good, just not enough of it. By the time they put ice and half a lemon in a 12 oz glass . It doesn’t leave much room for liquid.
Prices are comparable with others in this industry.
Enjoyed looking at the car and motorcycle memorabilia. And signs to read. As I ride a motorcycle. Race cars and motorcycles as well as other vintage vehicles hanging on walls inside around entire restaurant.
Was told to come back during Bike week. Or Cruise nights . Harley Davidson right next door.
Good place friendly staff and...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite places to get chicken wings and a chain I wish could come out further east. Great theming for a restaurant and it fits with the chain's history and the menu plays with that as well. This is also a very convenient location just off I-80 right before Youngstown though getting here from the interchange is a little convoluted, especially in the evening. Plenty of room to park and plenty of room to eat, too. Every time I've been here I've gotten good service. The servers do well in tending to their tables and keeping my drink filled. The dining area is wel-lit and plenty of screens showing sports if you care to rubberneck. These are likely my favorite chain wings. They have more meat to them over most places and they have some very good sauces. Haute Parm is my personal favorite (garlic parmesan with a bit of a kick), though I also tried their Buckeye BBQ this time as well. The latter has some good kick and an overall tasty sauce, but it isn't quite my favorite BBQ flavor. The wings I had were pretty tasty and cooked well and the pretzel sticks were very good; nice and soft and a nice beer cheese to go with it. If you're crazy, you can always try to "eat heat" with their hottest sauce...but I'll pass as they are even hotter than the Triple Atomic wings from 10 years ago. I wish I was closer to a Quaker Steak and Lube, but this is definitely a place I'd consider if I was in the area. If you're looking for a good chain for wings and other fun bites, definitely come to Quaker...
