Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Ohio

I went there with my daughter and 2 grand daughters to have brunch and start our girls' day off right lol well let's just say that the good service ended with the" how many in your party? " the hostess asked us. Our waitress made us feel as if she was in a hurry while taking our drinks and then immediate asked us for our food orders. We wexplained that we needed a minute and she went and got our drinks. The drinks were OK except for the fact that I expressed told her NoIce and she kept broke refills w/ice SMH we were sat before another family of color (usually i don't mention the race but its relative to this story)There were 6(each a group of 2 and of European descent. I had time to notice bc of the service we were receiving)other ppl sat After us and the other family of color. We ordered before them and they all received there food and drinks before us and the family. We asked the waitress about it and she said they only had one cook. Which I'm usually understanding of,bc I have worked in the food industry, but the last time I checked we're fed in the order we come in, on most occasions, given the time we put our order in. Which like I said we asked for a minute to look over the menu but ordered before the 6. When we finally received our food we had to send it back to be prepared correctly. Meanwhile, the other family of color still hadn't received their food and they manged to sit another table of 2 down. (Shortly after that ,they're food arrived.)Thus is absolutely the worst service and treatment at this restaurant,or any, that i have received! My family will not be returning plans wasting our money. Since the Austintown Perkins reopened we decided to go to create some business. I ordered a chicken & pasta dish with lemon garlic sauce & broccoli on it. It was horrible. Some of the chicken was rubbery, the broccoli was so over cooked it disintegrated in your mouth and the dish had a vinegary taste to it. It even looked "old" when they brought it to me. Like it was petrified on the plate so I didn't have high expectations. Ive never sent a plate back so I didn't know what to expect. My waiter asked me if I wanted to see a manager, I thought he asked if I wanted see a menu so I said yes. About 6 or 7 minutes later ( after I got up and got my own menu to look at) the waiter comes back to say Im sorry the manager is really busy but we'll take it off your bill. I say I dont need to see a manager but I need to order my meal to go so my husband isnt just sitting there waiting for me to eat. The more I thought about the reaction the more irritated I got. A customer has to send food back because its so bad (you see theres only 3 or 4 bites taken) and you make them wait an additional 7 minutes or so rather than asking can I get you something else? So with that time plus the 10 minutes or so for my to go sandwich to be made and wrapped, a manager never did bother to appear. The waiter offered and gave me a piece of dessert for "my trouble" but I dont see us going back there. Too bad because their pies...

Waited for drinks, then waited a lengthy time to order a simple meal and what I wanted couldn't be ordered for breakfast food which all I was doing was omitting the bread products for a fruit cup and got talked into a build your own breakfast, which is not what I wanted in the first place. After waiting 30 minutes asked whats going on, was told short handed and ours was a simple 2 eggs w/ 1 sausage and 1 slice of bacon and a fruit cup and 1 cheeseburger with fries took over 45 minutes to get said food which the eggs where way under cooked, sausage was burnt and the only thing edible was the 1 piece of bacon and fruit was warm. Then as I peered across the table at said cheeseburger, I see something crunchy looking, and touched it. I was asked what it was and said hang on, don't eat that. Flipped it over and it was a seriously burnt hamburger with burnt cheese on it as well and then slapped on a bun and covered with toppings. That did it, after over an hour of a wait for that, we got up walked to the counter, tried to pay for our drinks and was told she had to get the manager. Went into the kitchen and then walked back out and the manager told her to tell us to have a good night, we didn't owe anything. Well yeah, because we didn't eat anything.
