2 stars for the server who actually acted like he wanted to help us. I really wanted to like this place. I really did. But I did not. Good points, green beans were good , male server was lovely. Ok stood there waiting to be seated for 15 minutes. There wasn't any one there hardly! Workers kept looking but no one wanted to be bothered, that is until a semi regular local couple came in. But they had to seat us first. We literally waited so long I went to a table to ask a customer if we were supposed to seat ourselves! Once in a booth, my seat was ripped as we're most of the booths i could see. Needs an overall. Sat another 5 to 10 minutes before a server walked by and asked if anyone came by yet. She took my drink orders but before I could get my husband's out she was gone. ( he was in potty). The original person who was supposed to be our waiter passed us off to the young man. Why you ask, from what i could gather because she was talking about it she didn't believe we would be good toppers. OK rude but I'm glad she did as she was rude . Finally got out our food. First my meal roast beef was good, potatoes were passing, gravy was bad and from a can. Bread was inedible, as I mentioned green beans were really good. Unsweet tea tasted like the container hadn't been cleaned. I actually didn't, couldn't drink it. My husband never did get a soda refill. His eggs were eggs, breakfast gravy was typical but lol the potatoes he asked for extra crispy, I even said throw em in the deep fryer he'll be good. They were just about raw. Please clean the womens restroom. Not horrible but not good. Just to be bitchy , tipped the guy 10 dollars. Take that original server. Did I mention the prices? They were more in tuned with a 5 star restaurant. And I can not stress this, the service was nil. ( except the boy). They are the laziest group...

I will start by saying that there was a larger group of us so that could have played a role in some of the issues we experienced.

It took a while for the food to arrive, but this does not surprise me again because of the size of our group. A wide variety of food was ordered some great some not so great. Someone ordered a steak and was very underwhelmed by it. It was extremely thin and did not look very appealing. I ordered a pepper jack chicken myself and the chicken tasted rather bland. And a couple of people's orders were cold. In general, it seems like the people who ordered lunch like items such as sandwiches or soups had more positive reviews and dinner items such as mine were less than favorable.

I would rank the lower, but the server was very nice and I've been to another location of theirs before and remember it being better. I still have fond memories of going to a location outside of Westville and ordering a "Trucker's Special" for breakfast once in a awhile to treat myself when was younger. I hope to go back again sometime with just myself or a much smaller group and hope to see a marked improvement.

Update: I took my girlfriend here a few days ago. Just me and her. As I suspected, service was much better. And the food was amazing. I forgot to mention that if you do get something breakfast related, like the burrito, or the "Trucker Special", then be prepared to get something that you may not be able to finish for that you would probably better off not finishing in one sitting. I ordered food to go, specifically asked if they had the two dinners that we wanted and was told that, yes, they had both. I was told 15 minutes for pick up. I got less than 5 minutes from the house and got a phone call saying that they didn’t have one of the dinners that I ordered. I was understandably somewhat annoyed since I had specifically asked. The girl on the phone was obviously young and inexperienced, I was basically put on hold twice while she attempted to multitask. I changed our order and told her that I would be there in 5 minutes. When I walked in the door I heard the same little drama queen telling some other customers what an a__hole she had just gotten off the phone with and she was eliciting a lot of sympathy from the older couple. She said that they had said that they would be there in 5 minutes so I knew she was talking about me. She said she didn’t know if I was there or not so I piped up and said, yes I’m here. At this point the older man spoke up and started to admonish me and was promptly told that it wasn’t any of his business. The little drama queen then proceeded to accuse me of dropping F bombs left and right which was an outright lie. If the girl is going to be associating with customers she needs to be taught some serious lessons about tact and diplomacy because she knows nothing about either one.
