Tremont Coffee Company — Restaurant in Ohio

Drove 20 min to get to Perry Treemont because North Canton was closed and what a mistake. I did it both saturday and sunday. Saturday my drink was ok not bad. Sunday my drive through experience with new employee was bad. I hate how they train and this kid was bad it was my 3rd bad experience w him. I order get my drinks start heading home and my drinks so bad (cant even tell its a pumpkin moonshine) turn around they re make it and its still bad but at that point I was annoyed and didnt feel like the employee who made the drink cared. I did complain on facebook nicely and was offered a free drink if i provided my number which i told them i wanted to Pm them my experience. Week later tomorrow nothing. There are to many other good coffee shops like Human Bean which has amazing staff so next time ill do that over Perry location. I just dont get why their service compared to North Canton is so bad and not inviting it makes no...

I love the coffee, and the convenience of the location and drive through. What I don’t love is being forced to tip. I feel like their staff pushes it more than any place I’ve been, it’s a drive through…you’re barely interacting with me and getting paid to make people coffee. I’m already paying more for a better cup of coffee by going there, instead of a McDonald’s drive through (for example) they don’t demand a tip for doing their job of making a cup of coffee. And other drive through coffee shops do not do this, human bean, biggby, to name a couple other local places. I love your coffee tremont, just hate being put on the spot to leave a tip on an already pricey coffee. Your bosses should pay you more instead of expecting their customers to fill in your remuneration void. I live in Portland, OR so I'm used to having great coffee available anytime I want it. I was so glad to find Tremont so I can get excellent coffee whenever I'm in town. Friendly staff, fresh and properly roasted beans and some flavored drinks that my wife loves (I don't generally enjoy sweetened coffee drinks, but the Honey Badger is really pretty great.) Highly recommend.

Just wanted to update my review several years later to say that Tremont is still is still great! I had to move to Florida (terrible coffee haha) to help my wife's parents, but still visit Ohio to see my family. A lot of mediocre coffee chains are opening all over the place.
