March 18, 2020 ordered in the app for breakfast. It said order had to be in by 10:22 a.m., which I did. It was placed so it must have been still acceptable, since again it was placed before the deadline. I get there by 10:30. Tell them at the speaker that I placed an order through the app. I was told to hold on, which I waited for 4 minutes. Then I was told to pull up to the first window. They tell me they were all out. Then the manager says we have to call corporate for a refund. Then rudely says how we have to get there sooner. There wasn't anyone waiting to place an order so why couldn't it still be made. The manager has a major attitude problem. I order through the app before the deadline so in all honesty it doesn't matter in my humble opinion what time I actually get there, considering how I already paid for it. It is my problem the food quality wouldn't be on point. Even though it would have only been minutes old. I thought the point of also ordering through the app was so the food would be ready when you get there. Why wasn't the food ready? None of it makes sense to me. I again paid money so why is there no option for some other choice of food? The breakfast food should have still been what I received since I ordered and paid for it. I was there by 10:30 either way. That is beyond frustrating and rude. I get no food but I am charged for food. I call corporate and then never had anyone get back to me. It is now going on the 21st of March 2020. I shouldn't have to beg for my money back. UPDATE 09-12-2020 Where do I begin?...Drive-thru is so slow. Fries for the longest time now are ALWAYS undercooked. App never works when they offer in app free with purchase and you pay on there. It always says card didn't go through but that same card will work at the window. The employees are less than friendly. They had an issue with the register the other night and didn't care they were messing with people. Why couldn't they use the front of the store's register? Read moreAfter waiting quite some time as a couple ordered a full dinner meal. And the young man took their order and also filled their order. It was finally my turn. I ordered two frosties to go. I paid in two quarters 4 dimes + 2 nickels, which, he couldn't seem to grasp the concept of adding and counting. He then proceeded to take the order of the two elderly ladies behind me. I asked him if he was the one who was supposed to fill my order and he said yeah, I'll do it after I take this order. I was stunned. He drug his feet about. I actually looked over the counter to see why he was shuffling about or what he was wearing that was making the shuffling sound. He had on high top sneakers that were not tied.. He continued to yawn with his mouth wide open over and over and over again. I believe that someone with authority should have told him to pick up his feet, tie his shoes, stop yawning in front of the customers with wide opened mouth. We were charged and received two double cheeseburgers with double cheese (no bacon), charged a large fry and received a medium, a medium lemonade, and only 1 sauce for again, a 10 piece nugget. The only thing they got right was the amount of nuggets and my salad. Painesville/Mentor location on Mentor Ave NEVER gets my order right no matter what I get.
