Westgate Pizza Company - Austintown — Restaurant in Ohio

HORRIBLE PIZZA & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I called to order a pizza and was told to pick it up in 30 minutes. I arrived in a timely manner. I have my receipt that said that I paid for the pizza at 5:49pm I went straight home to eat. As soon as I got home I realize that the pizza was stiff and lukewarm to the point that I had to reheat it in the microwave. Myself, my husband and children proceeded to eat the pizza and it was so tuff that it felt as if I was trying to eat chips without chewing them. I called into the pizzeria at 6:09pm to let them know about the pizza and they told me that there was nothing that they could do. I asked to speak to the owner or manager and of course they both weren't there. I told them that I would try calling back the next day. They opened at 10:00am and I called in at 10:17am they told me again that the owner or manager was not there and put me on a brief hold.... by SUPRISE the manager magically appeared which I already recognized her voice because it was the same lady that I spoke to the night before. She explained that if I had a problem I should have returned it the same day I purchased it which I did and they refused to... and that she just so happened to check the camera and the pizza "looked" fine to her. How would she have known how it was unless she tasted it??? She was very rude and angry and refused to refund me for that horrible tasting pizza. She tried to question me as if I was lying... Whatever happened to the customer is always right?? I told her I will even bring in the remaining slices to show proof and they still refused to allow me that. So... I'm writing this review and will continue to write on every website possible because when I spend money I expect top qualify and good service which I did not...

I have been here twice. The first time here it was an honest 5 star product! The crust was delicious and crispy. The sause is tasty and full of flavor, not bland in the least. The cheese and pepperoni were baked to perfection. Slightly stringy cheese with a slight crisp. Wonderful! I live 40 mins away and i do not come by often. For a month and a half i tried to find reasons to come back this way and pick up another 6 slice with pepperoni. ( what i bought on my first and second time here)

The second time though...i bought 2 6 slice pepperoni. One for myself and another for my family to share. This one was the opposite of the first. The crust was soft and chewy (not the texture i came back for). The sauce tasted the same but was overtaken by the third element i taste for. The cheese and peppeoni were so salty that i could barly enjoy anything about the pizza. Very unimpressed. The pizza upset my wifes stomach.

I started with an excellent first experience and came back for the pizza i tried the first time and was disappointed. I do not think i will try them again. I was excited to try the super sampler for events, but i may pass. If they are normally consistant with my first experience then i recommend you try them. I doubt il be...

At 2:45 pm Sunday-July 20, 2025, I ordered a 12 piece Veggie Ranch pizza to be ready at 3:15 pm according to the person on the phone. My husband went to pick it up and paid for it plus a tip. My husband told him who the order was under. The guy checked in the back and the pizza was made completely wrong. As my husband didn't have his phone, the idiot employee said they would make one which took an hour later. I told my husband, I would have demanded my $20.00 plus the tip and gone elsewhere. There's no damn good excuse for this negligence. My husband said people got their pizzas and left while he waited forever for another hour. They gave him a lousy bottle of pop due to their screw up. If Austintown Westgate Pizza wanted to make it right, they should have given my husband the pizza plus his money back. This is the worst customer service I've dealt with ever. If you want to make it right, then give my husband our money back including the tip. We had a house fire last year and just recently moved back into our house. We've spent an entire year in a freaking hotel, return home, then have to deal with Westgate Pizza's crap. So, you can return our money and tip or completely lose a lifelong...
