I recently over heard some young people. One of them, named, Kyle (I don’t know any last names) played his guitar, sang at McDonalds and was told to leave. Later he said he forgot and played a second time. Oil City MacDonald’s called the cops and pressed charges for trespassing. This young man, trying to make dinner by singing and playing guitar (there is no law against playing music in public) spent 5 days in jail and was fined $850 as you pressed charges. He has no home per say; he plays for dinner and now he has an $850 fine that must seem impossible to pay back. Oil City Mac Donald’s lack of compassion reminds me of the recent shooting of the 68 year old woman in Oil City. Three cops display their power and kill an old woman because of an unfounded threat. The police could have stepped back or handled the situation without obliterating someone. They displayed total lack of awareness of another person. Is MacDonalds so emerged in profits that they have no awareness or compassion of people? I don’t even know this kid, but I am so appalled at their selfishness. Couldn’t they have warned him twice? Did they have to prosecute so a homeless person gets a $850 fine – for playing music?
MacDonald’s socked it to a poor homeless kid. But I will make sure it costs them equally. I have been to your drive through daily for years and I will never buy another thing from your store. You will lose more in profits that you delivered pain to this poor kid. Further I will tell everyone I know about this, to let them know your total disregard for people, especially those down and out. I hope they are deeply ashamed of this behavior. I am on their behalf. A...
Read moreI wasn't going to find myself here leaving a review for McDonalds but the service within the last month on days has been horrible. I work in Oil City and went over 4 times to McDonalds to grab lunch. Every single time something was messed up, the last 3 times I requested hot mustard to dip my fries in, keep in mind they charge $.25 per dipping sauce. None of the times I have received the actual dipping sauce and they are so quick to throw the order out the window and shut it without asking any questions its embarrassing. and the lone other time I ordered a "sweet tea" and i received an unsweetened tea. I did not know it was that difficult to read a screen and fulfill an order, I completely understand mistakes happen, but they are 0/4, on reading an order correctly. It is...
Read moreI am one to care about both customer service and quality of service. That being said due to the many teens in and out of this place, you can never expect the youngsters to do a perfect job. Taking that in to consideration I try to focus my attention towards the adults that have been employed there for at least a year, or more. Every encounter with these polite and caring individuals is a wonderful experience! I have never had trouble getting what I ordered and if my order was incorrect, it is promptly replaced without question. Not only do they care about doing their jobs correctly, but they care about having you as a return customer. I do not go here too often but somehow I am remembered and treated like family every time. Keep up...
