A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

First of all, the good points: The burgers are good quality for fast food, with good quality toppings. A&W root beer has also always been one of my favorites, with a much smoother and creamier taste than other root beers. The fact that it is attached to a Long John Silver's also means that you can mix and match items from the two menus, which is great if you love hush puppies as much as I do.

Unfortunately, as good as the food here is, the service ruins it. I have only been there three times, and the long waits I had to put up with two of those times have put me off from going back. One time I didn't even order because I sat at the speaker box for several minutes without having my order taken.

Of course, this was all in the evening, so earlier shifts may have better service, but I would definitely recommend against going in the evening unless you are fine with a...

Filthy....... there's so much dirt and food debris on the floor is crazy. Bunch of staff having a good old time but no no one cleaning.

In response to the the reply from management from this review about how it's hard to enure customers "safety" while they're open and that's basically WHY no one's cleaning..... what kind of ridiculous excuse is that? There is old food and trash littered all over the floor, behind trash cans, under tables and chairs..... obviously there for days and probably weeks. The health concern shouldn't be cleaning supplies sir or madam but roaches and rats or God knows what else. You have a staff that are sitting on payroll having stand up and not a cleaning rag, broom or mop in hand and that's ok? Jack in the Box on Danforth recently met it's demise for much less..... the cost of food doesn't match what we we recieve and the response was...

We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich meal (got a bacon cheeseburger with no fries), kids chicken tenders (they left that off our tray completely) and a fish meal (only correct order). I asked them for my grilled chicken sandwich, they brought me a crispy chicken sandwich with wilted lettuce. I went back to the front and asked for a GRILLED chicken sandwich hold the wilted lettuce. After about 7 minutes I finally got it. The rest of my family had finished. Only good thing about this place is they were too stupid to charge us for the 2 A&W souviner mugs we ordered, and they gave us 3. The other 2 families that were with us ended up with their orders messed up too. Another family who came in about 15 minutes after us we watch them butcher their order too. Get it...
