I ordered from here on yesterday from Doordash after a long search for baked turkey wings and dressing that was near me. I really didn't think it was a place with those specific items BUT D&W Daiquiri Spot met that challenge. They didn't have the baked turkey wings but definitely had the dressing. So, I ordered a pork chop and a neckbone dinner that came with three sides. I had two side orders of dressing which was sweet tasting to me but it made the cut (I LOVE dressing unless its wet) and collard greens which was ok but made the cut the cut as well. I mean at least they werent vinegry, ewe, they were good. I was impressed because I've lived here for four years and this was the first time I ate soul food that was good and made the cut by my standard of soul food eatting.

Today, my cousin was in town and wanted soul food so I took him there. We'll, let's just say they did not disappoint. He had the neckbone dinner with his three sides of mac n cheese, greens, and dressing. He said his food was good.. It made the cut and now he have a spot to come to when he visit.

I had the pig feet dinner. Now, I was hesitant because everyone can not make them properly. IT WAS FIRE 🔥! My sides were dressing, of course and string beans. VERY GOOD! Overall, AGAIN, the pig feet was FIRE 🔥. My doordash pork chop was FIRE 🔥. Everything was really good. I will return when I'm ready for soul food and feeling lazy!

The customer service was AMAZING, one of the BEST I've experienced since living here from the moment we walked in, sat down then left!

Lastly, the bathroom was clean and decorated really nice which is very important!

We order three dinners, cakes, and drinks which csme up to $98 + my tip. Not bad for...

Tried a new spot today! Had a little bit of this and a little bit of that. (All the food isn’t pictured). We will visit again! Neck bones were good, meatloaf was great, chitterlings were okay- had a vinegar taste, fried catfish was really good, mac and cheese taste like it was straight out the box along with the Stove Top stuffing advertised as Cornbread Dressing 😒. But bay bayyy… those black eyed peas- SLAP!!! Sooooo good, definitely made with love along with the greens. Cabbage had a good little spice kick. And if you like cake as cornbread, you will love their cornbread. He had the strawberry/peach daiquiri 🍹and I had mango/piña colada 🥭. They use a strawberry purée we weren’t huge fans of; the combo tasted a bit like cough syrup. They play music throughout the day; today being Sunday, they were playing all the gospel classics 🎶. They have a “Appetizer, burger, fries” menu Mon-Fri. They only offer the soul food on Sat & Sun. It’s wasn’t packed when we visited but it has plenty of seating for large parties 8-12 ppl. They accept ApplePay so that’s another ➕and they have several TV screens throughout for entertainment. Great trial and error first visit; we know what Not to order next time. Also want to try other menu items and more daiquiri...

Rating 1 for service due to the FACT that we ordered 2 Catfish dinners, which came w/3sides ( this was a Saturday dinner) 1 Pepsi & 1cup of water. Total was $41 and some change, Explain the $64 and some change charged to my card!!!! PLEASE EXPLAIN… recommend getting a RECEIPT. Food review: Catfish, sweet potatoes & collards was good . The dressing was not good at all, dry & seemed to be old left overs. Cornbread was very dry and hard not fresh at all! Hubby had cabbage as a side and it was very spicy/over seasoned. Cute place, 2 ladies seemed very nice but just feel like we were deceived with this $64 charge after the fact when I clearly know I swiped my card for $41. Not to mention I put CASH in the tip box so I hope whoever tipped themselves more on my card enjoys the extra money you...

My friend picked this spot for weekend lunch. She had dined here before. However, it was my first experience. I ordered the catfish dinner with slaw, greenbeens, and cornbread dressing. It also came with cornbread. The filet was really good. And yes, it's real catfish. The greenbeans were rich with potatoes and bacon. The slaw, cornbread, and cornbread dressing were overloaded with sugar. The dressing had a stuffing texture and tasted like a reheat. It was also burnt to match the cornbread. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I was disappointed. The daiquiri was on point, though. The atmosphere and service was pleasant but a lil warm inside. Also, they include their own tip @ 20%. If I visit again, it would be for drinks only.
