My spouse and I paid a visit here this evening. First of all, the only reason why I decided to pay a visit was because our server, Curan, at La Brasa sold it very well. Decent looking speakeasy but service by the mixologist was horrible. I would of rated it a one star but one of the bouncers, whom I did not take his name was very attentive and even briefly showed us around the next door night club. Now back to the speakeasy. It was 10:00 pm and our mixologist described in one word, "unwelcoming" I didn't get his name but bearded guy with dangley gold earrings on. A couple things to point out to management. Why a speakeasy has margaritas, daiquiri's, and mules on the menu befuddles me. I paid with tip, which I should have backed out, $49.50 for a angel's envy old fashion and a flavored vodka cocktail. These are big city prices for average drinks and bad service. No thanks! I will not...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience, Don't waste your time or money at this place. This place cherry picks on who can enter and who can't, trying to enforce random dress codes! They denied my fiance and I for wearing our VERSACE floral silk shorts and loafers. We seen lots of people entering this establishment with shorts on. Our dear friend purchased a VIP area and bottle service for his birthday. You would think this place would've told him about this random strict dress code! But they did not! Our friend even called the club promoter trying to get us in, still got denied! The club promoter was completely shocked on how they were treating us at the door! Chase the doorman was very nasty! I felt like he was being homophobic and racist! Our evening was ruined because of insolent fools running the door! Not a good look for this bar, that's surrounded by tons of gay...
Read moreThe atmosphere is really neat and different for OKC so we were really excited to visit but the service was horrible. A group of us walked into the speakeasy on a Saturday night around 8pm and sat down. We waited for 20 minutes or so (the bar is not very big at all) and the server made it very clear he did not want to serve us. We were practically the only ones in there besides 3-4 others at the bar top which he tended to but otherwise refused to talk to or acknowledge us. He stood around idly behind the bar and walked by us a few times with no intent to collect our order. We eventually got the hint, left and went to the Bar Next Door (literally) and had a blast. It seems like it’s the same guy from the description of another review with a similar experience to ours. Needless to say, we won’t be back...
