We went to this club expecting jazz music since that is what they advertise. We asked the door man if the jazz/blues band was good that night and he said yes. We paid the ridiculous cover charge, went in, found a seat and started trying to have a good time. If I pay a cover charge for a venue that seems clean and has decent seating and clientele, one would think that they would have at least one person that is making sure everyone is having a good time and offering drinks. Nope...that didn't happen. We listened to the opening band and they were pretty good..country music (which I like) but not jazz/blues. The headliner came on stage and not only was it not jazz/country...they were awful. The opening band was MUCH better than the headliner. After having my ears assaulted by bad country music, we left. They offer nice variety within their punk"ish" niche. Whatever genre, I'm never disappointed by the music here! The Outside patio is patient friendly and while the inside is smoke free they allow vaping. The venue has recently been remodeled and looks much improved (love the restaurant style booths and low but not dark lighting) but without losing its original identity. The venue has a long history of representing a different side of the music scene in OKC and that hasn't been forgotten. A couple minutes later I talked to her coworker who told me of minutes later and he informed me i was at $3.50.
