Wide menu to pick from, the variety scared me to be honest I should have walked away in that moment. Imo when there are over 200 items on a menu the quality drops. I was right. The dumplings and fried calamari may have been the best items on our table at lunch. The poke bowl fish quality was horrible and the rice was soured, not the last item of the meal that was bad. The Lo Mein was what I would expect, not mind blowing but basic. Now as a Buryatian woman I had my heart set on the Mongolian Beef, It was incredibly sweet for the dish and even the heat of the chilies couldn't balance it out. Now the whole fish in Basil had me forcing my husband out of the way so I could escape the horrid stench of old fish. The only items we finished was the Dumplings and my son ate all of his Lo Mein but no one ate past a few bites of each item before our stomachs turned. Was glad to just pay the 68$ and to escape the table in a timely fashion.
Side note the bathroom was covered with litter in the women's, wallpaper in the hallway was covering mold and the lobby and seating area had absolutely no air flow and was miserable.
Sticking to Kitchen 21 and Sushi Neko. Everywhere else in this state is a...
Read moreUsually I love Bistro B, I’ve been coming here for years with my friends and family and have never been disappointed by the food or the service until today. When my server came around to refill my water glass a decently sized bug, (it might be a roach? The poor guy looks like he’s been in there for a while. He wasn’t moving) fell into my glass. I noticed him immediately and I’m shocked she didn’t, as she walked away from the table without saying anything. I tried to get her attention again but I guess I wasn’t loud enough. Another server came around and I brought it to his attention. He took the glass away and brought me a new one and shortly after my original server came and apologized, which was fine. Accidents happen. But it was still gross. I was hoping to have some sort of compensation for the experience but unfortunately that was not the case. Maybe if I had made a bigger deal about it then something would have been done, but I feel as though I shouldn’t have to take it that far considering what happened. I don’t think I will be visiting again anytime soon or if ever. Which is unfortunate, Bistro B was one of...
Read moreThis was my first time going to this restaurant and it will be my last. If I could give no stars for the food I would. I ordered sesame chicken, general tso and chicken lo me. For both entrees I ordered fried rice.
They had clearly forgotten about my order when I went to the pickup window. I placed my order at 1:15 and did not get my order until 2pm. On the door they had a sign stating they would be closing at 3 for a private event. If that was the case you should’ve blocked all online orders so that you don’t have to rush and give out poorly prepared food.
When I finally received my order they gave me white rice that was cold. This rice was cold as in it just came out the refrigerator. Mind you I ordered fried rice…….
The chicken was fried so hard, I could not chew it. You’d expect that since they took so long the food would be fresh. Instead, they re-fried our chicken and covered it in sauce and fried it just enough to get the food feeling “hot”.
For 40$ and a cashiers tip , I could’ve went somewhere else. Wish I could post a video of how hard the...
