I called in and placed an order for lunch which is grilled pork on sticks and “Sticky Rice” The employee who does cashiering, seating, takes orders and serving had answered the phone He took the orders but didn’t ask for my name or phone or give me any total?! His voice on the phone doesn’t seems to care or appreciate customer business Then I have to ask for how long would it be then he said 10 mins I arrived and went in to picked up and paid The cost of 2 items was $16.35 and the tips 18% It came close to $20 I was on the road working that day and when I was able to stop and eat my lunch only opened it up to be a steamed rice not sticky rice It was disappointed because the sticky rice would be better with grilled pork The employee was also answering a personal calls when I was paying for my order He didn’t thanks me for business and I didn’t get a receipt The last few times that I went in the menu prices had been changed and up but the service is down I don’t think I will go to Thai streets eat anytime again soon or never There are several other Thai restaurants around that is friendlier and...
Read moreA COCKROACH walked across my table as I was finishing up my food. The waiter saw it and watched me set my plate over it to trap it. I immediately got up and walked to the front to pay and leave. He commented “was my little buddy bothering you over there?”, while he swiped my credit card, acknowledging that he saw the COCKROACH walk across my table. I didn’t kill it but hopefully they will as they clear my table.
I should have told him I wouldn’t pay but I was shocked and just wanted to leave as quickly as possible. I’ve not seen a roach at a restaurant in years. I just paid and left. I’ll never go back there again. I doubt I’ll ever eat at any Asian restaurant in the area of sw 89th and Penn. There are several of them in this shopping center.
I once had to drive behind that shopping center and there is trash all over the place, no doubt contributing to the COCKROACH problem. It makes me think the people who run this restaurant are nasty, in addition to the people who own and manage the entire shopping center are nasty. I’ll never shop or eat in this area...
Read moreIn our cross country road trip Oklahoma city was one of our pit stops. Found Panang thai online and ended up here. Basically they are the same restaurant or this one is an extension as they have different menus. We ordered total 3 dishes including the dessert. All 3 of them tasted awesome. Let’s start with Panang’s. Ordered fried rice, taste 10/10, presentation 10/10, portion 11/10. Two people can easily share. From Thai Street Eats menu, we ordered spicy crispy chicken. Presentation 10/10, portion 10/10, taste 9/10. It tasted great, don’t get me wrong. But we expected it to be more spicy. The mango sticky rice was 11/10. Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of it as we were literally ravaging it! So good. This place is definitely worth a try. One of the best thai places I...
