Los Tacos Two — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Remember, this place is cash only. Food is meh. They use broken taco shells for nacho chips. Unless your a follower of this family restaurant for years you will probably be unimpressed, maybe disappointed when you see what you get for the higher prices they charge. Not much better than a cheap microwave tv dinner to me. Your opinion may be better of this place- doesnt hurt to try it. It was really awesome when the parents were running it at the original location. During my visit 10-26-21 about noon, I was very disappointed by the service from the lady at the front counter. She got our to go order completely wrong. She seemed to be annoyed we were there. Obviously she didnt care if my wife and I got what we paid for. Whats sad is I tipped her pretty good to see if I could cheer her up. Didn't work. I'll never be back. There's better places which are happy to have your business and have way better food for the money, like Tacoville. Google it. You'll like it better. I went to Los Tacos 2 for the first time today. I had heard nothing but good about this place. My wife and I ordered 4 tacos, 2 combo tostadas, 1 bean burrito, and 2 large drinks. Total was just short of $30. The taco shells were stale(old?) and nothing special at all. The bean burrito had a big piece of onion peeling( I mean the outer paper layer that should have gone in the trash) mixed into the bean. The two tostadas were left out of the bag. We didn't discover that we had been shorted until we made the 8 mile drive back to the house. So I made the 8 mile drive back to get them. I will say that the 3 ladies working there were very nice and sweet. After getting back home we found that the tostadas were horrible. They both were tossed into the trash. Food quality is terrible so we will never return. I cannot recommend this place. Go ANYWHERE else. Go to Taco Casa, Taco Bueno, and even that crappy Taco Bell taco is better. .... ps. The...

No signs to state “cash only.” And I’m sorry, but this was gross. This is probably good for drunk people in the 70s that have never had decent Tex-mex, or young children raised on chicken tenders and Mac and cheese that don’t know a damn thing about good food, but in 2024 I’m scratching my head how this place still exists. The beef was like canned dogfood, and a taco needs finely shredded cheese, not that thick stuff from your box grater at home. Go to Taco Casa instead. Same price and waaaaayy better quality. You could get similar results just buying the cheapest cheese, beef, and Best Choice taco shells from Buy for Less and making it yourself.
