Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Tonight our friend group and I went out for ice cream after our dinner. This is something we do almost every time we go out but we typically visit another location, the one in newcastle(tri city). Today it was raining quite a bit and we pull into this location, and pull up and park next to three other vehicles. We all go in and they had to pull someone from the back to help us instead of the manager who was standing there or the 3 other employees. Once this girl comes from the back, we begin ordering. When ordering I was ignored at some point trying to order my fiancés shake and completely looked past. At another point whilst my friend was ordering, the girl helping us stopped to take a headset. Once again, there were 3 other employees standing there as well as the manager. Once I had finally gotten to order, the cashier proceeded to add the person behind me’s order to my order. Which was corrected. Once our group gets our ice cream we go and sit down to begin eating. After about 15 minutes; the manager proceeded to step from behind the counter but stay standing right next to it, and yell across the entire dining space about how we were parked incorrectly. Instead of walking over to us and talking to us about it, she decided it was best to yell it across the dining room. I’m sure it was because we appear to be a younger group, but when in reality she was yelling at a group of people who work in the food industry, one being a general manager of a store, and another the assistant general manager. From one manager to another, there was a much much better way to handle this situation. She waited until the 3 other cars which you could clearly see us parked next to, left. She waited until it was only our cars out there to do so. And you could say oh maybe she didn’t see the cars or whatnot, I can assure you that we could see the cars from the mirror behind the employees we were ordering from at the counter. And she was staring out the windows at the front of the store, talking about the rain outside when we were ordering our ice cream. She chose to wait until it was ONLY our cars to yell at us. Braums your management needs to take a step back, and learn how to properly treat customers despite age. I deal with teenagers all the time at my job and can assure you, this is not how I would treat them, because at the end of the day, they pay the same prices as the adults. They should also be treated the same. I understand we parked in the wrong spot, but as i previously stated, it was raining quite a bit and you could not see any lines in the parking lot period. Should I have to apologize for not knowing the layout of your parking...

Asked for Braums sauce 2 times. If I didn’t want Braums sauce I would have went to the 5 burger joints a lot closer to my house. Couldn’t be more upset. First impression and my last impression of this location. Never again. Fries right as I got them felt like they were cooked more than 10 minutes before I got them. Never was even offered drinks so I didn’t bother asking. Saved my money. Oh hey you need napkins? Bring your own! Non in the bag either. This review would have been avoided if I got my Braums sauce. That’s the only reason you go to Braums. Older lady was great, not sure if she was manager but she’s an asset. Move her to another store and close this location down. Nobody else that works there cares. Kids that handed me my food didn’t look at me once let alone wish me a good night. And a good night I’m no longer having. What a waste...

My friends and I went here after celebrating my enlistment for some ice cream and we parked next to a group of 3 other cars parked right up next to the building and about 15 minutes later after we had ordered a “manager” came around the counter and decided to yell across the lobby(we are sitting in the farthest corner btw) acting unprofessional and proceeded to treat us like idiots and tell us we need to move our vehicles. Mind you I’m with my general manager and assistant general manager so they kind of know how to properly handle a situation. This “manager” prior to this incident was continuously giving us nasty looks and refusing to help her staff to serve the customers which made our orders incorrectly in the beginning.
