Attempted to go through the drive through at the 112 NW 23rd St. location and upon arrival at 9:45 PM the store was still open. We attempted to order through the drive thru but no one answered. We drove around to the window and noticed a man in the store with his headset on sitting near the front. When he saw us pull around he very quickly ran to the back of the store out of sight. We thought that maybe he went back to the kitchen or register to take the order from the drive thru so we attempted to place our order again. No response. No luck. We then drove around the store again and saw him peering out through gaps in the appliances from the kitchen. It’s safe to assume that he was actively avoiding his next customer. Man, I was really looking forward to that Superstar but instead was forced to go across the street to McDonalds. Disappointment doesn’t even begin to explain it. I hope I was the only customer who was avoided, but it sounds like you might be losing significant business if this is the type of behavior your staff is exhibiting.

Read moreWe had to repeat our order to the drive through attendant several times. He was short with us, but finally repeated our order correctly. Then we had to wait in line for so long that a passenger ahead of us got out of her car and went inside. When she got back 5 minutes later, her car was in the same place. When we finally got up to the window, the only thing the attendant said to us was our total. Then he went back to playing on his phone. We got our food and checked the bag, and our fries were wrong. We had placed an order for crisscut fries, which the attendant had repeated back to us correctly, but was wrong on our receipt. We didnt press the issue because he was just glaring at us behind the closed window and we didnt want to wait for 20 more minutes. I had also ordered the guacamole burger, but what I received was a slippery avalanche of everything but guacamole. I had to scrape off a ridiculous amount of mustard, ketchup, and mayo just to keep the burger together. I understand and love messy burgers, but this was really ridiculous. Also the place was really clean! Although kitchen lighting did not seem to be all working.
They were way way way under staffed...2 people working the Saturday lunch shift. That is just sad scheduling (as the woman behind the counter pointed out) it was backed up and stayed backed up. I was the only person standing in line and was waiting for over 10 min to order. That is crazy.
The woman working behind the counter was not particularly kind and did not lead to a good customer service interaction. However to her credit it sounded like she had not gotten much sleep at all due to her work schedule and she was in an impossible seeming situation because they were the only 2 people to be scheduled for the lunch rush and the previous shift had not cleaned up well before change over. I asked her why they were so backed up, hence why I know this.
The bright side is that waiting so long let to the perfect burger tasting even better.
