First time coming here and I'm a big Bbq fan. I grew up in the Carolinas , also lived in Texas , and now live in Las Vegas where we have a ton of Bbq restaurants. I've tried almost all of the ones in Vegas and they are mostly a mix of Texas Bbq and St. Louis Bbq. We did have a Memphis Bbq restaurant years ago , but it was awful and way too salty. Most of the Vegas Bbq places do good brisket and ribs , but nobody is the best all around.
My son and daughter in law came here a couple months ago and sent me pictures and told me about it. I came to visit them in Mustang the first week of April and we came in and got a table full of stuff. Ha ha. They were really excited to see how I rated everything. They really like it. The Brisket Chili was really good and came with Cornbread that was big and moist. I hate when you get that dry oven cooked cornbread that falls apart. The Chicken Wings were really good and didn't need any sauce , but a dip here and there in the ranch is fine. The Bbq Pig Skins were better than the ones I've had in Vegas. Good flavor and crunch.
Burnt Ends were good and not overcooked like some places do. Ribs were very good with no sauce. I tried all 3 of the sauces and they were all very molasses strong which I didn't care for at all. Maybe a little in the bbq sauce , but the sauce was black due to so much that was in it. I've never seen black bbq sauce. I think the Competition one tasted the best and my son liked the Spicy one the best , but I just couldn't eat it. Brisket was good , but not great. It's hard to find a place that makes great brisket , but I've found a few. Pulled Pork was just average. I love the Carolina Whole Hog Pulled Pork with the Vinegar Based Sauce and I can also do the Mustard Vinegar Sauce. Even some Texas Style Places can do Pulled Pork good , but not usually real good and with the Tomato Based Sauces.
The Mashed Potatoes were real good and the Mac-n-Cheese was okay , but I'm not a big Mac-n-Cheese guy except for this one place in Vegas that does a 5 cheese one that is the best I've ever had. My daughter in law liked it a lot though. The Bbq Potato Chips were pretty good also. The Hot Links were not bad , but I wish we would've gotten Jalapeno ones , but my daughter in law doesn't like spicy. So we got the regular ones.
I know I'm more of a critic than most and I'm sure lots of people love your food. I hope you don't think I'm talking down of your restaurant. I just put it above average. I do like the decor and our server was great , attentive , and really nice. I like the back patio and there was a live 2 person band playing for some guests outside. I would come back again when I visit my family and I see this place is pretty popular. I know there must be a ton of Bbq...

Clark Crew BBQ is, without a shadow of doubt, an unmissable gastronomic adventure in the city! Let’s dive in, shall we?
First up, the catfish. Perfectly cooked, flaky and flavorful, it's a testament to how seafood should be done. But then you bite into the jalapeño hot link and, BAM! It’s a fiery explosion of smoky goodness that takes you by surprise every single time. A symphony of spices dancing on your palate, the hot link alone could make you a Clark Crew BBQ evangelist.
And just when you think you've savored the best, you're presented with those tender chicken tendies. The juiciness, the seasoning, the crispy outside and soft inside; it's a delightful rollercoaster of flavors. Perfect for adults and kids alike, they redefine the term ‘tendies’ in the best way possible.
But, dear reader, we must talk about the loaded baked potato. This isn’t just any baked potato. It’s probably the crown jewel of spuds in the entire town. So decadent, so generously loaded that it could very well be a meal in itself. Heck, give me two of those any day over anything else, and I'd be the happiest diner around!
Onto the creamed corn. I've never been a major fan until Clark Crew introduced me to their version. It's creamy, rich, and seasoned to perfection, making converts out of even the staunchest of creamed corn skeptics.
And can we take a moment to appreciate the pickles? The balance of tanginess and sweetness is so impeccable, they might as well host masterclasses on how to do pickles right.
Now, the pièce de résistance - the BBQ sauce. It’s the glue that brings everything together, the cherry on top, the elixir that turns great BBQ into legendary BBQ.
In conclusion, Clark Crew BBQ isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience, a joyous celebration of all things delicious. Every bite is an ode to culinary perfection. If you haven’t been here yet, what are you even doing with your life? Make a reservation, grab a table, and embark on this tantalizing BBQ journey. Trust me, your taste buds will send you...
Read moreI think we have an obligation to be honest & forthcoming about our experiences when it comes to eating out. This is especially true when it pertains to eating at expensive and trendy establishments. It is unfortunate that I assuming the position of the "Bearer of Bad News," this morning.
Clark's is slightly overrated in my own, humble opinion. Please note that this is only my very own opinion. First things first, the Waitress wasn't bad or rude but, she wasn't exactly friendly and inviting either. There was a bright side to our experience with the wait staff as our waitress just so happened to be shadowed by someone who she was training and she was fantastic!
As for the food, I'm just going to be honest, it wasn't good. Run of the Mill Fried Okra, Mac and Cheese was bland and runny/soupy and on par with the likes of "Luby's." Then there was the meats. The Brisket which consisted of Sliced & Burnt Ends were just there so to speak. They didn't sieze ahold of you with flavor. My Wife's burger was just a hot mess which consisted of being drowned in what seemed like a sea of" Elementary School Cafeteria Style Chili, " with only traces of incinerated cheese. It just wasn't a good experience.
Please understand that I'm not out to bash this place entirely as the decor and presentation of the building/facility itself was nothing short of high-end and state of the art but again, unfortunately the barbecue did not meet my own expectations. They did have good Lemonade if it counts for anything. There are a lot of notable small barbecue places that would slaughter this place but you know what? All in all, I'm glad that we tried this place.
In summation, if you want to save some much needed bucks, opt for something you know because barbecue if not properly done right make for a very unpleasant experience. I know it's very popular right now to just go with salt & pepper for the rub because you do want to focus on the beef but, let's not take this too far. It's not going to hurt you to seasoned the meat. Smoke alone is just a mask but you have to seasoned large cuts of meat. Again, this was my own experience and...
