Wow I can't believe the service I got today. I'm used to awesome chipotle restaurants being from southern California. Here's the story: I called in my order and let them know I would be there no later than ten minutes. Having hungry children, I don't have time to stand in a line forever. Anyway, I get there and there is a long line so I go to register and the girl attending rudely asks if she can help me. I tell her I'm there to picky up my order and well, they haven't even started it!!!!! I'm beyond annoyed. They tell me they will start on it. .. guess what they start on it AFTER their last person in line. I'm getting angry. Then they are arguing with each other about my order.... they are all high school students and arguing about what I want and apparently they can't read the writing of the guy who took my order down... ummm it's not that hard a burrito and 3 sides of beans and rice. Finally my order is ready. I notice only two bowls so I ask if I was given the three side dishes. They talk to each other and say of course they combined them (rice in one and beans in the other). Wth?! I wanted them separate, 3 bowls of 2 sides each. Now I'm sure they have no idea what they are doing. I pay and leave. I get to my hotel and notice I've never purchased a smaller burrito from them. But it's ok I guess I didn't need the calories... eating my burrito I notice many pieces of steak have thick gristle and I have to spit it out and can't chew it. Yes the steak is a little too pink. I'm hoping I don't get sick. Also I think that they are skimpy with beans as I think I saw only 5 beans in there. Oh well. I go to give my children their beans and rice which they love... well not this time. The white rice that supposedly has cilantro in it smells like the greens have gotten rotten I would know. They are also dark brown and slimy. I think I'll post a picture in the morning. Anyway the rice not only stinks but tastes bad. Needles to say no one ate it. I made the kids microwaveable mac n cheese thank goodness I had that as backup. I can't believe this place is still in business. The teenagers are all arguing with each other and have no customer service skills. They literally rolled their eyes at me and are bumping into each other while prepping food, arguing at register, the place looks trashed, and inefficient food preparation. Will definitely not go back. Ever. And I'm tired of reading good reviews about places that aren't great so I feel it's my job to set the record straight and try to actually even out...
Read moreThis Chipotle used to be my go-to favorite location. Something over the past few months has changed and yesterday was my tipping point. I came in and everything was in disarray. Where do I even begin?
Food was everywhere; it looked like they hadn't cleaned the counters all day. I get it, you get behind, the lines are long, but man, in a food environment where you see everything, and I'm already worried about the quality of the food due to the past issues in Chipotles....I dont want to see things like this. One girl was cleaning off guacamole containers with her hands after she filled them (she had gloves) and then would flick the excess on the floor???
Next problem was the fact that they were super behind on their availability of chicken. And this wasn't so much of a problem, as much as it was in their management of it. They basically made us feel like we were such an inconvenience because we were yet more customers ordering chicken. The guy said all snarky to me and my husband, "its gonna be awhile for chicken." Were like ok, no problem. I said I didn't mind waiting, the chicken is just that good, and you could see the annoyance in the guys face. So I proceed to ask him to give me barbacoa. I dont want to inconvenience anyone! My husband decides to wait for chicken and they serious give him half a portion since there's a line behind him and they want to save some for them since they are behind. That is not ok! And dont even get me started about the attitude of the lady who gave me toppings. When she asked me what I wanted, I almost said, an attitude adjustment for her. I mean, I seriously felt like I was in the twighlight zone!!
The icing on the cake was when I got the register and tried to use my Chipotle gift card. The lady behind the counter said, "oh sorry were not accepting those right now because we got a new system. Do you have another form of payment?" Two things: 1. What if I didn't? 2. You might want to post a sign for that at the door or at the start of the line.
The food was still great which is the only reason I'm leaving two starts instead of one. I dont like to leave negative reviews but someone out there needs to see this and fix this Chipotle...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to chipotle today. I can tell right off from the beginning from the first girl who asked for me and my girls order, I was in for a real surprise! First she slapped both of our tortillas into the warmer together, both hanging halfway out, one side of each getting hot, the other….. well, it’s a toss up.
We go down the line and everything is empty, and lord have mercy, the line where they make the food was severely unkempt and was a mess. My girl asked for barbacoa, “Nope”! Try again they stated. Bummed out she said she’ll take chicken,” Nope “! Out of that too. She was forced to get steak. Pretty shocked by their attitude and how care free the staff was I just kept down the line trying my best to hold my tongue. We get to the part for the vegetables and what do you know, no lettuce and no cheese either! Is this Chipotle or a taco truck behind a Home Depot’? The guy making our burrito got some frozen cheese from the freezer and took a basketball scoop and plastered it on my burrito, making 75% of my burrito a frozen dairy ice cream cone. My girl was so turned off by the attitude from the girl making her burrito, as she was barely giving her any helpings as it looked like she was trying to conserve, that our burritos couldn’t of come out different in the end. Mine a frozen cheese explosion, hers a potato that lost its soul. To be charged Chipotle prices for these abominations is hysterical.
We wanted to eat inside but every table was disgusting ,no lie… every single table. We ended up eating in the parking lot. Now I never leave reviews, I don’t even leave reviews for the Dunkin’ Donuts who consistently get my order wrong as at least they are friendly and appear to be human. But These people all had attitudes and the personality of robots… and when the line was empty they were staring at their phones instead of giving a “beep” about cleanliness. I advise people stay clear of this store. Therefore I’m leaving my first...
