I can only imagine that its the new policies implemented nationwide that has led to such catastrophic results, but I can remember a time of going into this Starbucks and seeing the employees happy - a time where the employees didn't look like they were so miserable that it looked as though at any given moment any one of them could go and off themselves from the deep depression they all carried upon their shoulders. Their new dress code does them no favors, either. The black shirts with the green aprons make the entire atmosphere of Starbucks feel as though it is a punishment to be within the establishment.
And it is to no fault if the employees themselves, as all of them are just following the commands of their fearful leaders, whom all must be terrified to rise up against the authoritarian regime that deems it a necessity to regulate the permissible colors their mandatory clothing is allowed to be.
It is absurd to think that a service job in which is such a high stress environment as an understaffed and overworked work environment such as Starbucks would deem it so important to control something that was such a non-issue beforehand.
Perhaps someone intelligent would come through and realize that people aren't spending money in Starbucks because the economy is the least stable it has been in the past 40 years, and that lowering the drink prices would likely create more of an influx of consumers than forcing an absurd dress code that serves as little more than yo add stress to already overly stressed employees.
So for the employees within the store, good on you. You all deserve better.

I've been a Starbucks member for the last 4 years and love quality of food/beverages that I order, and up to this point, the customer service has been exceptional. This is my go-to location but after today, I will be driving the extra 5 minutes to another Starbucks location to get my cold brew. I always order on the mobile app and use the drive-thru service. I had ordered my usual cold brew and an iced peach green tea for my wife. When I pulled up to the intercom to let them know I was picking up my mobile order, rather than tell me they were out of one of my drinks, would I like to order something else, or at the very least if I wanted my account credited... they proceeded to tell me that my order was ready. When I pulled up to the window to pick up my order, the barista then handed me a drink carrier with my cold brew and an empty cup. It wasn't until I brought it to his attention, that he even noticed the empty cup. Rather than apologize and offer another drink or credit my card, all I got was "We ran out!". Rather than making a scene, I took my incomplete order and proceeded down the road to the next location to complete my order. I've yet to be credited for the drink I ordered and didn't get. But, this particular franchise (on northwest expressway) was horrible this afternoon!! The woman taking our order was so impatient with my sister, mother and I while we were trying to place our orders. She walked off before my sister could even finish her order. She acted irritated when I asked her what type of scones were available. This woman was just in general very rude. It took thirty minutes to get our order, which is fine if our orders would have been made correctly... but that was not the case. She did not take our names and/or the orders did not come out together. Which resulted in a couple of customers were accidently served the wrong drinks. When we finally did get our order, they were incorrectly made due to her not paying attention while we were placing our order. It was not busy or chaotic in the store. It was relatively calm and quiet. I'm not one to leave negative reviews but the service we received was awful. I will not be returning to this...
